Worst store ever. I can't find words to describe my disappointment right now. Over a month ago we ordered wedding rings (two simple bands, what could be easier for a jewelry store?). The seller, Emilia, assured us that there would be no engraving on our rings, which was decisive in choosing this particular store. A few weeks later, we came for an order and saw absolutely not what we expected! Not only was there an engraving on the rings (although earlier we were assured that they were not), one of the rings was completely damaged!!! How could a seller in a jewelry store not even check and give away a ring with black stripes on white gold??? Moreover, the seller tried to assure me that it was normal, and all I had to do just wipe the ring. When my partner and I insisted on returning the ring to fix it, the salesperson Emilia assured us that the ring would be fixed in a week. After that, we called the store several times and the seller each time answers us with the template "in a week and a half will be ready." So, today, more than two weeks have passed since the rings were given for rework. We still haven't received our rings, we've had the most unpleasant experience that can be get before a wedding for a lot of money. There is no much time left before our wedding, there is simply no time to order rings in another store!!! Due to the negligence, irresponsibility and absolutely indifferent attitude of the store staff and the Madani company, which produces rings, in particular, we received negative emotions before our wedding, a disappointing experience, and moreover, now our wedding is generally questionable, because without rings the ceremony cannot be held. Due to the problem with the rings, we will have to cancel and reschedule everything that we organized earlier. I would like to get a reaction and feedback on my review, and contact the store management about the...
Read moreI bought an expensive ring for a milestone 80th birthday. Buying was a good experience with good customer service, no complaints. Unfortunately I had to return the ring I originally purchased, due to the person I purchased it for already having one similar to it. So we went to exchange it for something else. The person I bought it for had an unfortunate accident and is in a wheelchair, does not live in the area, so it was a big deal just to get to this location to do this. I brought the original gift bag the store gave me, had my receipt etc. I didn't see a trash bin so I put the original bag in my purse so I can throw it out later when I get out of the store. When completing the exchange, the audacity of the salesperson to ask me if I wanted to use the old wrinkled gift bag (that I stuffed in my purse) to put the replacement item into it. Really? This is a jewelry store, this is an expensive piece of jewelry & you can't give me a new gift bag?! On top of it all, I'm with an 80 year old person who travelled a long way in a wheelchair in order to do this exchange - what I expect is for them to treat her properly, give her a gift bag with tissue in it properly & hand it to her!! Not ask me to use the old bag I was throwing out, and not give me attitude when I asked for a new gift bag & it was given to me without any tissue in it. Just a box thrown in a bag. It should have been placed properly into the bag with tissue and handed to her properly. I'm appalled by this behavior & service especially from a jewelry store. I was embarrassed and felt horrible for the person I purchased it for, who went through a lot just to get to this location....
Read moreI recently visited the European Boutique in Etobicoke on Sunday, September 14th, around 3:45 PM with the intention of purchasing a luxury watch. Elena came forward to help me. I showed her a picture of a Swiss watch I liked—I was looking for a similar style, not that specific watch.
Instead of assisting me respectfully, she made a humiliating and inappropriate comment, saying, “these kinds of watches are worn by mechanics.” This implied my choice was low-class and inferior, completely dismissing my preferences. Her behavior felt disrespectful and unprofessional, making me feel belittled and unwelcome. This is completely unacceptable in any luxury store.
Luxury retail should provide a welcoming and respectful experience for all customers, regardless of background or appearance. Poor customer service like this not only drives away potential buyers but also damages the store’s reputation. While the store has a great collection, I will never buy from Elena unless she personally apologizes. I urge management to address this behavior immediately to ensure no other customer experiences the...
