I bought this olive last night, and I had a hunch that something was wrong. When I got home and opened it, I was horrified to find that it was completely spoiled and infested with Cabbageworms. The next day, I returned to the store and politely asked the cashier to exchange the spoiled olive for a new one. I didn’t even ask for a refund, but he insisted on giving me a store credit. It was quite rude, i had been a loyal customer since I moved to the area. It’s not about the money; it’s about the attitude.

Food was moldy. I usually don’t write reviews, but this is a health concerning situation. They didn’t take any responsibilities about it, just simply offered a quick refund without any apologies. That’s just unacceptable for a place that promotes fresh deli food. Won’t ever trust their food again, and after we left, the person didn’t even throw the food out nor check the remaining stocks of the food. Dangerous

One would not think that the most amazing shawarma in town will be hidden inside a Hasty Market at Yonge and Davisville. Freshly made in front you, will be a massive and great shawarma that two people can dine and with a reasonable price. Great, tasty, reasonably priced shawarma in a grocery store! One of the beauties of the amazing city that we live in, called Toronto!

I've been a customer of this Hasty Market for years. They have pretty good chicken shawarma, BUT... They've just lost me as a customer. I was there this past Sunday night. The same guy that always works the cash, presumably the Manager (40+ y/o man), was not wearing a mask during Covid. He had a face shield on, but it was covering his chin, and not his mouth or noes. In addition, their layout is terrible for Covid. If the lineup for the cash is long, then customers coming in have to walk past everyone at the back of the lineup near the drinks (Covid gauntlet). Aside from my usual chicken shawarma , I purchased a large container of hummus + falafel, and their hummus was the worst thing I've ever ate (and I typically love hummus). Upon reflecting on it more, the place is really nothing special. Aside from the shawarma and the people who work at Flaming Stove at the back (the shawarma place), the actual Hasty Market staff are poor at customer service (i.e. not friendly). I will not be supporting this business or going back. Maybes Shawarma on Eglinton has better food overall and there are 4 convenience stores on Mount Pleasant between Merton...

Poorly laid out space. The curly haired, tall guy cashier/I think manager (he's usually manning the register) ... Extremely curt and bad at customer service. Never smiles at us or greets back. I have seen him do a friendly banter with customers right in front of us, but the minute we get to the counter he goes all stoney faced, will not respond to a hi or a hello and the minute we step aside after paying, we see him go back to being friendly with the customer right after us. Makes me feel targeted and profiled. This happens every single time I visit that shop and I have to deal with this guy. The other staff at the cash register are usually friendly and easy to talk to. Very displeased with his behaviour. I try and limit my visit to this shop as much as I can and always hope that I don't get to meet this guy when I am there. He alone makes shopping in that store a...

I live in 225 Davisville and most of the time I buy my groceries in Hasty Market in Davisville Ave, tonight(02/22/2016 around 10:30 pm) I had very Bad experience: I was standing in the line up, and suddenly the guy I think he was the supervisor for midnight shift said the credit/debit machin doesnt work! after this sentence I just asked him" you mean only cash?" and he started yelling at me in front of other customers. I was shocked and even I cried , after that I asked him why you yelled at me that was rude and offensive!!!, he started arguing with me and told me if you dont like here then dont here!!!!. So right now I 'm thinking what kind of customer service is that?!!! I cried all the way to home!! after a long day work and school that was my night!!! He was supposed to apologize for that inconvenience situation (about credit/debit machine) instead of that he...
