I sent both my kids to Jingbao Scarborough.

None of them spoke mandarin (we are not speaking mandarin at home) and now, thanks to the teachers, they can both speak quite fluently for their age.

The team was always so kind and patient with my son (7yo and not attending anymore) when he first started, they succeeded in comforting him, and very soon he was the happiest little boy and was asking to go to school.

Now, my daughter (3yo) is also thrilled to go to school, she sings in the car and always leaves me with a big smile on her face. I know that she is in good hands and it means the world to me.

The teachers are going above and beyond with the activities proposed during the day, they meticulously plan the week around a theme. The kids do a lots of hands on (play with water, DIY activities, sensorial bins, planting seeds ...). As parents we have the perk of being sent pictures at the end of the day so we don't miss out on those moments and have plenty to chat with our little ones on the way back home.

Since COVID, the teachers are being amazing, following protocols and making us feel safe while staying very human and caring.

My 3 year old daughter has been going here for a few months after being out of daycare for almost a year due to the Covid closure at her original mandarin daycare.

She had a hard time for the first few weeks since she wasn't used to interacting with other children anymore but Ms. Bing and the teachers are very patient and engaging and she quickly started to like going to "school" again. Now she is a lot more friendly with other children, and become more self-sufficient at home.

The new programming is extremely innovative and you can see the hard work the teachers put in with planning and preparing fun activities. My daughter is getting a lot more stimulation compared to what we've seen in other daycares.

We don't speak mandarin at home so she's fallen behind the year she was out of daycare. She is learning a few mandarin words and songs again and we hope she will be able to understand what she is singing and converse by the time she leaves next Fall.

Our two children have attended Jing Bao since they were 18months old. They've always enjoyed the programs and the teachers! We as parents get regular updates on their school activities throughout the day and whenever we have a question it is promptly attended to.

This year in particular we have been super impressed by their professionalism and care for our children during the pandemic. They have helped our family maintain a semblance of normal during a very abnormal time. The activities are geared towards the children's learning interests and needs, and it is fun to hear them sing songs and respond to their teachers in Mandarin and correct each other's Mandarin!

The teachers genuinely care for the students and join with us in watching them develop in their personalities. My 3yr old, who is typically quite shy, has gained confidence in the various activities and learning that he participates in at Jing Bao.
