Oh, Sabji Mandi, where do I even begin? The irony of your name is truly the highlight of my visits. For those who don’t know, "Sabji Mandi" translates to "vegetable market," but I’m convinced this place is running a secret social experiment to see how long customers will keep coming back for veggies that look like they’ve been through a time machine.
Every time I walk in, I’m greeted by the same sad sight: wilted carrots, sad-looking tomatoes, and potatoes that have more wrinkles than my grandpa. It’s like the vegetables here are competing for the title of "Most Likely to Be Forgotten in the Back of the Fridge." I mean, come on, how hard is it to stock fresh produce in a place that literally has "vegetable" in its name?
The funniest part is that despite the lack of edible veggies, the store is always bustling with people buying Indian groceries. Maybe everyone’s just given up on the veggies and accepted that this is really just an Indian grocery store in disguise. Honestly, Sabji Mandi, it’s time for a rebrand. Change the name to "Everything But Sabji Mandi" or "Stale Veggie Emporium," and you’ll at least earn points for honesty.
On the bright side, if you’re looking for spices, snacks, or other Indian groceries, this place has you covered. But if you’re here for fresh vegetables, prepare to be disappointed—or just bring a magnifying glass to inspect the produce for signs of life.
Final verdict: 2/5 stars. One star for the grocery selection, and one star for the unintentional comedy. Sabji Mandi, you’re a mystery wrapped in irony, and I can’t decide if I love you or...
