Having watched a ton of reels show up from Holy Shakes while scrolling multiple apps, I had high expectations from this place.

I went there on two different days to try two different items from their menu and here’s my honest feedback:

On the first day, we had their Oreo freak shake - it came in a glass bottle packed with Oreo milkshake, oreo biscuit pieces on the bottle, one part waffle - followed by vanilla ice cream and then the second part of the waffle drizzled with chocolate sauce. I’ll admit, the presentation wasn’t as fancy as it looks online. The taste was good (very basic, but good), so I wasn’t disappointed.

The next day, I ordered their cheesecake experience - it comes with their original flavor cheesecake factory cheesecake, along with a side of ice cream and one topping. I was told there will be an extra $2 charge if you want the cone that’s shown in their pictures in the store and online.

I am a fan of the theory that looks good and tastes good so I went all in and added the cone! My total came to $20 which IMO was a lot for what little was offered.

I chose the biscoff crumb as a topping, malai ice cream, and Belgian chocolate sauce drizzled on top along with white chocolate. Honestly, the amount of biscoff crumbs they added was a joke. We felt like the cheesecake was way more sour than it should have been and decided to let the staff know to which we were told that the cheesecakes are supposed to stay good for 6 months (that could be true, but I believe the cheesecake slice we received was part of a bigger cake that had been thawed at least a few days back so it was starting to get sour), the staff was hesitant but accommodating so she replaced our cheesecake with a different one that we chose. We went for the Oreo cheesecake (not pictured), and I thought it was quite good. However, the cone added to the dish was also left open for a while I’m guessing so it had a weird taste.

The malai ice cream was amazing though.

I might not go back to this same location again and would be cautious...

As a fan of milkshakes, I must say that the drinks were good. We got a berry blast and cinnamon toast crunch shake. The berry blast was the perfect amount of sweetness to a bit of the berry's tartness. The cinnamon toast crunch shake was basically the cereal milk in a milkshake (which was amazing). Their fries were also really good.

The issues: In the pictures, you might see that in the orange box where the 2 can dine deal is, it shows classic cheese burger and double stack. You would presume that the burgers in the deal would have cheese. It does not and costs extra.

The person behind the counter advised that when we came in, it would take 25 minutes to have the food ready, which we had no issues with. The burgers came without any scorch/grill marks, which I found odd. So after the wait, I took a few bites of the burger, and I was confused with the lack of cheese. Then, when I got to the middle area of the meat, it was mushy. I did not finish and told the worker. They said it was fully cooked when confronted. I could literally peel apart the patty with a fork, with the consistency of uncooked patty. No replacement or apologies provided.

Honestly solid milkshakes but overpriced. I got the “Always Nutella” and it was tasty, not thick enough for my taste but still tasty. However, two things irked me about the shake. The first is the price, for around 0.5-0.7L of milkshake my girlfriend paid more than 14$!?!? This is an outrageous price with all due respect, which leads to the other problem I had with the shake; the whipped cream. At such a premium price point one would expect to get proper ingredients, this was not the case with the whipped cream. It was of the same variety as the Tim Horton’s whipped topping and did not taste nor feel as though it was actually made of whipping cream. I truly feel for what it is, the place is overpriced. If you want a cheap tasty milkshake go to Mcdonald’s and if you want a more expensive premium one go to Shake Shack. Doubt I’ll come again.
