Some bubble tea shops are just places to grab a drink, but Pann Tea felt different. Family-run since 2018, this Scarborough spot had the sweetest vibe: comfy seats, a cozy interior, and an owner so friendly that it instantly felt like home.

The Mango Slush with Lychee Jelly will always have my heart. It’s actually the drink that first got me into boba, and tasting it here reminded me exactly why. Fruity, refreshing, and packed with juicy lychee bites, it felt like pure nostalgia in a cup. Then came the Oreo Cheese Milk Tea, which indulged my inner child with every crunchy, creamy sip; playful, sweet, and just a little over the top in the best way.

The CrĂšme BrĂ»lĂ©e Cake Milk Tea was indulgence reimagined, silky and dessert-like with that caramelized sugar flavour running through. And to my delight, they also served an eggless CrĂšme BrĂ»lĂ©e: something I’d never tried before, but was thrilled to finally find. Creamy beneath its golden top, it was elegance and comfort rolled into one.

Balancing it all was the Hojicha Latte: new to me, but a revelation. Smooth, roasted, and earthy, it grounded the sweeter drinks and felt like a warm hug in latte form. Together, everything flowed beautifully; indulgent, refreshing, playful, and calming, all in one visit.

Pann Tea isn’t just about boba, it’s about moments — the kind that make you slow down, savour, and smile. I loved every minute of being there, and can’t wait to come back for more. Sweetly recommended!

Basically ....I ordered a mango smoothie....I drank a little bit...and took the rest home...and forgot about it. I came back to it...and realized a dead fly had floated to the top...I was a bit grossed out. I don't know...if it was done ...intentionally or unintentionally...but I don't think I will be going back to this place...ever.

Reply to owner: The first time I ordered the drink...it was too thick ...so I made the Chinese boy...inside...behind closed doors...remake it...I guess he resented me asking him to remake it...so possibly he decided to add the fly...as vengeance...Note: I forgive him...However, he should Not have done that...afterall...I wonder...how many other people...he may have done that to? I suggest...before you praise yourself...get rid of staff...who does such things...or else...teach them to "treat others ...as they want to be treated" Thankyou...Note: I don't bother rating any businesses or individuals publicly or online...unless they had done something very good or very bad...And people always ask for my opinion on things...because I tend to be very knowledgeable concerning certain matters...Anyhow...this is just a warning...take it with a grain of...

I rarely write a review of the places we visit BUT this place deserves it. For its Service and Drink Quality. Writing this as we are drinking!

The service is polite and exceptional as other have mentioned. Not sure if its the owner I was dealing with but he was very humble and patient.

The drinks themselves are AMAZING. We always opt for no sugar since these are typically already sweet with tapioca pearls.

We tried both the matcha and the original creme crulee cake milk teas, these are more on the dessert side of bbt drinks but the taste was unreal. Flavourful, creamy deep and rich.

If you like egg based custards (Ala, chinese egg tarts or steamed egg desserts) these drinks are for you!

There's something unique in the addition of the Creme Brulee which works perfectly in the flavour profile of their Matcha drink. Pretty sure there's cheese Milk Foam as well. Gives all their drinks a deep rich flavour, unlike others we've tried before.

I would 100% recommend trying either of their two cake drinks as a first timer.

10/10, will try others...

I can’t believe I always pass by this shop when I grab Banh Mi next door because I absolutely love how creamy and flavourful their drinks are! On a normal day without Covid, the shop has ample space for sitting, plus they have the cutest stuffed plushies to take photos with as well. The cashier or owner was very courteous to us when we arrived, and was patient when we had questions & deciding what to order. By his recommendation, we ordered the Matcha With Milk and the Creme BrĂ»lĂ©e Milk Tea. They also offer a variety of snacks and desserts, so of course we had to try the creme brĂ»lĂ©e’s they offer as well. We absolutely loved both drinks as they were creamy and had chewy tapioca. My favorite was the Creme BrĂ»lĂ©e Milk Tea as it was made warm, but the Matcha With Milk was refreshing as well. For their takeout Creme BrĂ»lĂ©e, you can’t expect too much as you’re not eating it there so it would generally be colder. I would’ve enjoyed it much better if they torched the top with sugar (for usual Creme BrĂ»lĂ©e), but still delicious & soft. IG: Ayenomz
