Shockingly poor and reprehensible customer service! I went in store to place an order for 30 ice creams, and was explicitly informed before paying that it would take 45 minutes. As soon as I paid, I was told to come back after an hour. My order took an hour and half to process, and while I was waiting in my car, I saw at least 8 other customers (who came after me) served their ice cream first. The rude and obnoxious lady behind the counter proceeded to tell me that she wasn't going to the lose the sale of other customers after me just because of my order and that in the future if I did not want to return to their store, that is fine. When I asked her to refund the ice creams that had not been made yet, she said its company policy not to provide a refund even if they have not started making my ice cream. When I asked for a manager's number she said they are' all managers who work there'. I have never experienced such poor and rude customer service, nor have I seen an establishment that takes your money and then changes the delivery time on you because other customers have come after you.
My suggestion - avoid this brand - there are other brands available which much better trained and friendly staff, and seamless...
Read moreGive rolled ice cream a go if you don't like your ice cream melting as you eat. Not to go into the chemistry of it but I think the fact that the ice cream is rolled creates additional cold surface area within the 'roll' keeping the ice cream cold and stiff longer. It also adds texture to traditional ice cream and enhances the taste.
Rollz is in the middle of nowhere @ the SE corner of Middlefield and Steeles in a nondescript Milliken Crossing plaza which happens to have lots of good eats. Pop on in after enjoying a Smoked Meat next door at Sumilicious and their rolled ice cream completes your cravings. They have a small seating area for about 12. Very friendly folks, excellent service!
We had plain jane cookies and cream (which was still very good) and now have tried other more interesting flavours like Bombay Kulfi, Mava Kulfi, and Sapodilla. You get to add 3 toppings like sprinkles, M&Ms and cookie dough, chocolate chips, but they also have Asian inspired ones like lychee and mango boba, lychee and mango jellies, etc. Sure, its a bit pricy at $9+ for a small bowl but it's tasty and satisfies cravings. Why not? Especially on a rare hot and humid TO day!...
Read moreThis review is based on an experience and not the ice cream. The Ice-cream is amazing and def worth trying. Before ordering we asked if they could split the kids order in two cups, the tall younger server bluntly said NO. Ok sure, I asked if he could give us a second cup and we can split it and he said fine. After the order was done, he gives us this little white plastic cup that wouldn't fit one roll serving of ice cream. I explained that the kids will cry, please give us one additional cup similar to the one the ice cream is in and we can split it equally. Apparently they talked amongst each other and said NO, we cannot give you another cup, it is policy? I offered 10.00s for the cup as charity because it was so offensive that we just spend 30.00s for your product, but you cannot give us a 10 cents cup for a child? She actually put in the payment for 7.95 for the cup and when I was about to tap my card, the worker said its okay take it for free? We threw 4-5 dollars in the tip jar not as a tip, but as charity. One of our favorite ice cream places with our babies is ruined because of their disgusting...
