My daughter participated in Gymboree’s summer camp classes. The first week, she had a lot of fun & enjoyed herself. Unfortunately, during the second week she had a very upsetting experience when a spider was next to her while she was playing. She was traumatized, and ever since then, if she sees a bug she panics. I was surprised the staff didn’t notice before she did, and I wasn’t informed about what happened until I asked, after my daughter told me.
There is no feedback provided to parents about what activities the children did or how they participated.
After a few weeks we returned for a make-up session, and while I appreciated the flexibility of letting us join an open gym, my daughter became very anxious. She repeatedly said that one of the teachers wasn’t nice to her and said something that upset her. When I asked which teacher it was, she pointed to the owner, and just seeing her again made my daughter nervous. This was very concerning, especially since she spoke positively about the other teachers.
This experience has left me hesitant about signing her up for classes again, as she now says she never wants to go into the classroom. That said, the open gym option is great and something she still enjoys. Unfortunately, it also feels like the focus is more on money than on kindness or genuine care, once a class is over, and you chose not to continue there doesn’t seem to be much interest in engaging with parents...
Read moreWe absolutely LOVE Gymboree! My older son attended classes here from 13 months to 18 months, and it was such a fantastic experience. He enjoyed Family Play & Learn, Crawlers & Runners, Music & Art Classes, and Open Gym. These classes really helped him grow both physically and socially, and it was such a joy to watch him thrive in such a fun & nurturing environment.
Now, I’m bringing my younger son to the current location, and he’s loving it just as much! The staff are so friendly, warm, and incredibly knowledgeable about early childhood education. They create such a positive atmosphere for both kids and parents.
The cleanliness of the place is top-notch, and the quality of teaching is truly impressive. I also love that the indoor playground setup changes every three weeks—it's such a creative way to keep things fresh and exciting for the little ones.
Gymboree has become such a special part of our family’s journey, and we’re so grateful for all the wonderful memories we’re...
Read moreThey are amazing! It’s been a year an a half since the first class I brought my son (by that time he was 13 months old) and he really loves it!!! There is no day he does not mention Ms Holly, Ms Ani and his friends. We have tried different classes (play & learn, art class, music class, open gym, Homer, and Summer camp) and through them I have seen the dedication of the team. They provide activities appropriate for each age group and to challenge them to keep developing new skills, they prepare the classes in advance, they keep constantly a clean space, and the big smiles and laughs of the little ones are the best proof of how good they are. They also change every three weeks their setting, so the little ones do not get bored. They can always explore something different. Plus, I have met amazing moms with whom is a pleasure to talk and share perspectives and experiences. All in all, I definitely recommend Gymboree for...
