I had just moved to Vancouver and as we all know our hair is our crown, so finding someone who shares the same understanding as this can be tricky! I first went to instagram and found the amazing Isabelle who had just started at K.kohairstudio, she was so kind from the very beginning!

I arrived for my appointment not far from my apartment in the downtown area and the salon immediately showed professionalism with its bright, clean, aesthetic decor. I knew right way I was going to be comfortable and confident in this hair salon.

I spoke with Isabelle to what needs and wants I would like with my hair, she was so understanding and kind and knew I was cautious with my hair due to past mess ups I had experienced. She didn’t tell me what she wanted to do with my hair, she actually listened to my concerns and wants and gave advice on what she thought would be a good idea, which I appreciated and it made me feel at ease in the chair. Isabelle walked me through every step she was doing. We laughed throughout the whole appointment and she guided me for hair care in the future and least not to say I came out 100 times better than when I went in with her magic skills!

I have already recommended k.ko hair salon to so many friends and if you are looking for a new hairstylist who just gets it, then this is your sign to book in with any of the hairstylists in this salon, you won’t be disappointed!

I had my hair done by Shana at K.Ko Hair Studio and she was absolutely wonderful! She took the time to understand what I wanted, explained everything clearly, and made me feel completely comfortable. I went there for a copper balayage. At first, my hair didn’t take the toner well, so the highlights faded and the result wasn’t exactly what I expected. What truly impressed me, though, was how Shana handled the situation with professionalism, empathy, and a real sense of responsibility. She immediately looked for solutions, followed up after the appointment, and when I came back, she took full care of it until we achieved the perfect result.
