While passing by this café near Stanley Park , I noticed a small sign at the entrance advertising siphon coffee, which immediately caught my attention. Intrigued, I decided to step inside. The space is quite narrow, but the glass display case filled with a collection of unique coffee cup sets adds an interesting touch. Their menu offers a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options, which seemed appealing at first glance. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. From the moment I entered to the time I placed my order, the staff member’s demeanor was cold and serious. Perhaps it was just an off day, but it certainly didn’t make for a welcoming atmosphere. The café only has a few seats, but there was a steady stream of what appeared to be local regulars coming and going. Read moreCame in last week and ordered a 20 oz latte, was extremely flat, tasted like it only had one shot in it when realistically a large size should have 2 maybe even 3, and never in my 36 years of life have I seen a group of employee/ employers act this way online nor in Person. Not even McDonald’s. The lady behind the counter had an extreme attitude as if I wasn’t allowed to even be there , which normally I can tolerate (I have also worked in customer service) but I just saw a video on Tik Tok and learnt I’m not the only person who has come across a negative experience in this supposedly “family friendly” caffe. Come to read the reviews and turns out there’s more than a couple people who feel this way. Just because your regulars can tolerate your attitude doesn’t mean the rest of us can or will. Do better!!! The only positive thing I can say for now is it is a cozy, clean caffe. Other than that would it recommend. And to the owner: so immature !! Reading your responses to constructive criticism from the people who put money in your pocket and food on your table and seeing the way you respond is beyond mind blowing. No respect. Work BC , Shut...
