Hands down the best place to get souvenirs in Vancouver. This small and charming shop is stuffed with apparel, mugs, coasters, and other trinkets all inspired by the local First Nation culture. Vancouver is the traditional and unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nation. This is one of the only places that are dedicated to showcase the significance of totems like Raven, Whale, and Bear holds in the local aboriginal culture. This wonderful shop in Granville Island is one of the most distinctive places to visit and was my hands down my favorite. It simply had things I hadn't seen before. The couple inside were friendly, gracious and helpful. My daughter and I who were visiting from Minnesota found two beautiful necklaces, a ring and other gifts. Dishonest shop. My friends (tourist) saw icewine tea $7.99. When the shop scanned it, it became $8.99, they said the price tag was not updated. The shop tried to charged them with $8.99. Then I engaged and told them about the law. The staff was like, "oh yeah". They obviously tried to make my friends to accept the higher price. I believe that they knew the law. 2nd issue.
