This is an absolute hidden treasure the whole of Vancouver should know about! I pass by on a regular basis on my "hill" bike ride, and finally decided to stop in one day to have a look. I was so pleasantly surprised by the variety of tasteful selection. This is not your typical corner store. Yes, it surely has its share of treats, but also a host of healthier choices and items you can buy to serve a family dinner. Since my discovery, I make it a point of picking up a thing or two en route. Cyclists . . . I insist you stop and sit outside for a cold drink or coffee! You won't be disappointed. My partner and I have been shopping here for a few years and we feel so lucky to live near this very special place. Since the beginning of the pandemic, we've noticed how much they've expanded to stock more essential items and respond to customer requests. They are always well-stocked, they have an excellent produce selection, and they continue to be a safe and comfortable place to shop. Is there a 10 STAR option available? What an absolute GODSEND this store has been to the entire neighborhood, and all the commuters that grace our neighborhood daily. Derek and staff have created a mini fresh/organic/hard to find shop that kept us all alive (quite seriously) through the pandemic, and turned a smoke shop/candy store into a mini Stong's/Famous Foods/Choices.
