Visited this grocery once upon a time on a friend’s reference. Overall, there are peculiar and rare products there that I didn’t see in other stores. However, even regular products (e.g. Gay Lee Sour Cream) are at least 30% higher than a regular price. Bakery there is of a high quality. Meat and fish is considered to be better than in other stores, but the prices are at least 50% higher.

This is a great and very clean supermarket. The fruits and vegetables looked fresh, and I really enjoyed the wide selection of Italian products. Andri was very attentive and made sure we found everything we were looking for. I'll definitely come back again.

Picked up two freshly packaged fruit platters on September 15. On September 16 this is how the pineapple looked despite a BB date of September 18. For $24.99 a platter this is NOT acceptable. Extremely disappointed in the quality of fruit.

Overall great shop - but I am getting sick and tired of their prepared fruit section, and this is why:

If you are going to charge a premium for cutting fruit and selling it in ready to eat containers - great, but you better ensure the staff you have preparing these fruit containers ensure they are giving the customers the best quality for that extra premium. If you don't - which Concord/Greco repeatedly don't - you're just scamming your customers.

If I need to throw out entire chunks or even whole containers of watermelon or honedydew melon or cantelope, because they came from obviously unripe fruit, or the opposite - they were over-ripe to the point of being disgusting to eat - you have scammed me.

If I need to spit out entire chunks of watermelon, honeydew melon, or cantelope, because your staff didn't cut the hard and unedible rind off of the chunks - you have ripped me off.

And I can't tell you how many times I complained about this to the store - they always respond politely and apologize and all, but this keeps on happening, which tells me that either they don't actually care enough to tell their staff how to do it properly, or they don't bother to monitor that they indeed do so.

This is no different than if their prepared food deli section would sell you egg salad with egg shells in it, or cooked chicken with feathers on it - no one would accept such poor food choice and preparation quality - certainly for the very high price they charge for it, but they do have excellent quality prepared food in the deli section ! Why they don't enforce the same quality standard in the prepared fruit section as they do in the prepared food deli section - I cannot understand, but I am getting fed up with this situation.

Concord/Greco - get your act together, if you want to charge the premium prices you do for your prepared fruit containers - there is no excuse to allowing the staff that prepares that food to show such disrespect for your customers by producing such poor product quality as they do.

As a grocery store in an area with Walmart, No Frills, and not that far away - other grocery stores as well - there is not justification for shopping at Concord/Greco, as everything they sell that you can buy the same from any of the other supermarkets in that area costs more at Concord/Greco than at any of the other supermarkets. The only reason I shop there is for two things, where they have the best products: their fresh fruits and vegetables, and their prepared food deli.

The only reason I will stop shopping there is this ongoing disrespect for their customers when it comes to the prepared...

I lived in Thornhill for the past 48 years and I’m been doing my grocery shopping for many, many years at Concord Food Centre ( Greco) but never had an a very unpleasant experience like today, while I was paying for the groceries I asked the cashier if I could pay for an slice of pizza before ordering, the cashier was very friendly and said sure you can do that. Therefore I approached the pizza counter and I asked the lovely young lady for the slice of pizza and I also told her that I paid for it and showed her the bill, she took a look at it and she was getting my order ready, unfortunately another woman came running to the counter and shouted at the cashier if I paid for the pizza, when I told her that I have the bill and I showed the other attendant, she said I need to see it, but that wasn’t the end of anything she turned around and started scolding the young attendant and telling her did you read the bill did you look at it properly, and went on on telling her that she seem her doing the same thing many times in front of customers, that was very ignorant, nobody has the right to talk to a fellow coworker like that. I feel management should be aware of these incidents, because not every is shoplifter or a thieve, specially seniors, her obnoxious and rude manner made me feel uncomfortable, I went there to buy food and I did not have to be embarrassed or questioned for my actions, I do understand that now a days, there are non desirable customers in the stores but I also feel that before reacting there are many polite ways to ask a customer for the bill. I will share my experience with the people in my neighborhood, so they can be aware that some employees treat customers as thieves. I worked at Mackenzie Health Hospital for 35+ years and we were trained to provided the best service and attention to our clients The golden rule was customer satisfaction is number one all the time. Hopefully someone will read my review and do something about...

I am so disappointed in your safety protocol during COVID. At the beginning you limited the amount of people visiting your store. Long lines but a safe environment. I was at your store the last two Saturdays and there were far too many people in your store not to mention the staff filling the shelves making your narrow aisles even more congested. I just read you have 23 confirm employee cases of COVID which you and the city knew about May 12 two weeks ago and the employees started to fall ill to COVID 6 weeks ago and we're just hearing about it now. I'm not sure if I'm more mad at you or our paid Thornhill city officials who waited this long to tell us. I understand that your not (as a store) going to be the first to make it public) but I would have at least ,reduced the amount of people in your store, possibly taking temperatures of people entering like a number of stores do and either have a time when the employees re-stock the shelves or wait till the end of the day. to reduce congestion in your narrow aisles . You have clearly put profit over your customers and have not looked toward ways to protect them (not to mention your own employees) I spend close to $200 a week at your store to feed my family and you have now lost me as a customer. Sure everyone agrees your produce is the best around but let me tell you, I'd rather now shop at No frills or Walmart who are working very hard and will eventually catch up to you in produce quality. Congratulations for investing in splatter screens at your cash and a bottle of Purell at the front of your store. How has that worked out for your staff and the customers that they could have infected. Shame on you. A store we all pay more for other products because we sacrifice that for your fresh produce. I choose a more healthy...
