So this is my 2 part review of the experience I had at Visions. The staff at the Vaughan location are very helpful and knowledgeable. I was helped by a few others offering info etc but eventually was sold pieced by Colin. He was great and gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision when buying a new TV and laptop. He went out his way to show me different options and give me the specs and breakdown of what I needed according to what I wanted to use my tv and laptop for. Aside from the great staff my only complaint is that the store is lacking in physical display demo units and stock. I initially bought a Hitachi smart TV but decided to go with the Samsung (Colin had told me it was better but I went for cheaper with the Hitachi the first time). After using the Hitachi for a day, I decided to get the Samsung and called the Vaughan store but they didnt have it and told me who did. The location that had the TV in stock was the Airport road store and they said they would hold it for me. THIS IS WHERE MY EXPERIENCE WITH VISIONS SOURED. The airport Rd location is beautiful it has great demos and sales floor Vaughan is lacking but the staff I dealt with was terrible. First of all the guy who said he'd put the tv on hold for me told me I HAD to return my tv at Vaughan first so I made the extra trip. When I got to Vaughan they told me that the tv could be returned at any location. So I made a 45 minute detour for no reason. Then the same guy kept pressuring me to buy the extended warranty and my boyfriend declined. When I went in alone to pay he then again tried to pressure me saying I should buy it, even after I declined he tried to charge me for it regardless. I was about to complete the transaction on the debit terminal and saw the price discrepencancy and then asked why it was more (almost 180.00 dollars more.). He then corrected it. I hope that the Vaughan store improves their availability of floor models so that its a better shopping experience on the sales floor, but I will definitely return back and refer others to the Vaughan location for all other tech and...
Read moreI was on the Vision Electronics website and I saw they had a customer satisfaction guarantee WELL that is definitely not the case I experienced on Sunday September 11 at Visions Electronics in Vaughan. On July 12, 2022 I went into the store and spoke with a sales employee name Nasser he helped me pick out a gaming laptop for my son Birthday. During the sale I told him it was a gift for my son who was turning 7 on September 10. I was not informed about a 30 day policy nor was I informed about this 24hr broken item policy. So the honest, hardworking, trusting parent that I am purchased this laptop for $960 and gave it to my son on September 10 only to open it and realize the mouse pad was broken and the factory seal was ripped off. That tells me that the laptop was used and broken. So myself, wife and son bring the laptop back to Visions in Vaughan only to be told I was two weeks out of there “30 day policy”.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? VISIONS ELECTRONICS SOLD ME A FAULTY, BROKEN LAPTOP.
Management then proceeds to update the laptop with a blue tooth mouse and lets me know I’m correct it is faulty and not working but there’s still nothing he can do bc I’m 2 weeks passed the 30 day warranty. If this isn’t insane customer service then I don’t know what is. My 7 year old son is heart broken I’m livid because I’ve been ripped off by what supposed to be a reputable company but instead it is a black market company selling faulty, broken items for top $$$ then having 0 compassion or customer service skills at all. This won’t end here I will be taking Visions to small Claims court reporting this to my local tv network and making sure I get what I paid for. Your policy sucks so do your products. NEVER, EVER purchase anything at there store, go to Best Buy or Costco where there products are genuine and there policy makes sense from a...
Read moreSunday September 11 I was at Vision Electronics in Vaughan and there was a family there husband, wife and little boy. They had purchased some sort of lap top for there son and they had come back to the store to try and exchange it because when the son opened the lap top and wanted to play on it the lap top was broken. They were pleading with the manager to please exchange the laptop because they had spent so much money and it was broken. I was waiting for some help with another store employee and I heard the entire conversation, I believe the father was there for over two hours begging and pleading with the manager to just give him what he rightfully paid for and they did nothing for him. The child’s face broke my heart, the father made a comment saying that he works hard for his money and just wanted to make his son happy and the laptop he paid top dollar for came broken. As a outside customer it broke my heart not only for the child but for the father who was very frustrated and upset and no one seemed to care. I believe they told him he was a few weeks out of his warranty but the dad kept saying the laptop came broken. Me as a customer witnessing that will probably never shop at Vision Electrons again because I would never want to be put it that type of situation. Shame on you head office, shame on the manager and shame on the entire Visions company you clearly sold someone something that was broken and broke a little boys heart and to do absolutely nothing about it is shameful. The manager tried to reboot the laptop he also updated it and he even agreed with the dad that it was faulty but there was nothing he could do. There is always something you can do especially if your head office. Well Visions Electronics you’ve lost a customer on my end that’s for sure. Good luck to that family hope it works...
