Absolutely appalling experience. We visited this location on July 19th around 11PM - 1AM. I cannot even begin to describe how disgusted we are with the level of service we received at this location. We went for dinner, and from start to finish, it was a disaster. Our server, “JOSHUA,” was incredibly rude and dismissive. We ordered one starter and four mains, and I specifically asked for grilled chicken instead of crispy in the burger, what did we get? The exact opposite. After we’d all finished eating, the burger finally showed up 30 minutes late. How hard is it to get a simple order right?

And the food? Just as bad. One of the steaks came out with three, limp, pathetic-looking asparagus ** on the side. They looked like they were pulled from the bottom of a freezer bag and thrown on the plate as an afterthought. Completely unappetizing. We had to **ask for them to be replaced, which is ridiculous.

It didn’t stop there. We ordered an espresso martini, and it never came. At this point, we started thinking maybe our server JOSHUA was just new and overwhelmed, but that excuse flew out the window when we tried to ask a simple question. As we were walking out, we politely asked how long he had been serving—and he completely lost it. JOSHUA stormed out after us, got in my friend’s face, raised his voice, and acted in a completely aggressive, unhinged way. No apology. Just full-blown disrespect.

We were so shocked we asked for the manager. Instead, the chief supervisor came over, instantly took sides with the server JOSHUA, and lied to us claiming she was the manager when her uniform indicated she was not. She refused to bring out the actual manager, brushed everything off, and stood there while other staff literally laughed in the background. It was insulting, humiliating, and totally unprofessional.

I have never, and I mean NEVER, experienced anything like this at any other Moxies location. The complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and even basic courtesy is unbelievable. If you value your money, time, or dignity—avoid this place...

Honestly not impressed with the service I received this time. I felt like the bartender was trying to upsell me on everything. I ordered an espresso martini and he then asked if I wanted a shaken one or one from the machine which I replied whatever is on the happy hour menu. This was the first red flag. I’m sorry I don’t believe in upselling in that sense if it’s the same price then it’s fine to ask which one, but when an espresso martini is on the happy hour menu for 5 dollars why would you ask me which one I want. It seems pretty eye gouging to me. I then asked about the shrimp tacos. I asked about it being gluten friendly he suggested a lettuce wrap which I said ok. I asked for one taco. I want to make it known that I only had a drink menu in front of me. I never had a food menu in front of me. I was clearly looking at a drink menu happy hour. I asked for a side of hot sauce. He said it came with it. I was like ok. I stepped out and came back in to three tacos with nacho chips. My bf didnt want to make a big deal about so he said he would eat it. I’m sorry if I worked there and I knew that something was on the happy hour menu I would make sure to differentiate. Three tacos that I never ordered cost me 22 something where 1 taco is 5 something. I’m sorry that is so wrong. It’s my fault because I should have said something but it was also 1230 at that point. We also asked for napkins which he replied I have napkins but no plates. I’m sorry you have no plates for an entree of tacos that you decided to order for me. Absolutely terrible. To be honest I would never go there again for happy hour as it’s not good customer service. I believe in giving your guest the best possible experience not in making the bill as big as possible so you can make the most money possible. Not impressed and left a really sour taste in my mouth. Please train your servers and bartenders to ask the...

I went to moxies Friday night, wasn’t very busy for the amount of servers they had. We were seated by a hostess who was super sweet and got us a nice booth in the lounge. Our waitress came out and we let her know we just wanted dessert and she seemed disappointed that we didn’t want drinks. We ordered 2 white chocolate brownies to share between 4 people. This was at about 10 to 12. At 12:20 or so our waitress came up to us and said “your brownie will be out in Litterally one minute”. At this point we were thinking about just leaving because it was late and we expected our food to be out sooner but since it was gonna be out right away we decided to wait. 15 more minutes passed and we saw her walk in and out of the kitchen with no brownie. Then a guy came and brought them about 20 minutes after she said “literally 1 minute” we asked him to grab a manager for us because not only did we wait 40 minutes for these brownies but they were cold so obviously when she said literally one minute she was being serious but then they sat in the kitchen for 20 minutes before we got them. The reason I gave 5 stars definitely has nothing to do with her because her service was subpar however the manager came out and totally turned our experience around. He was super professional really kind and had them remade for us and if it wasn’t for him I probably would never go back there. The brownies were amazing once he had them remade for us and he actually brought us each our own so we didn’t even end up sharing! I’m not sure what his name was but he was great and I’m pretty sure he had a talk with our server about what she could do...

We had a lovely lunch today at Moxies, and it truly lived up to its reputation. We ordered a variety of dishes: the Mango Chicken, Lemon Basil Salmon, and Chicken & Ribs served with crispy potato fries on the side. Every item was full of flavor — the chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, the salmon was cooked to perfection, and the ribs were tender and satisfying. The portions were generous, and the sides complemented the mains really well. One of the things I really love about Moxies is the consistency across their locations. Whether you’re in one city or another, the quality of food and service is always top-notch. The restaurant has a vibrant, modern atmosphere, making it a great spot for both casual lunches and special outings. The staff was incredibly courteous and attentive, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. That being said, Moxies is definitely on the pricier side when compared to similar chains like Earl’s or Turtle Jack’s. While the ambiance across all three is comparable — stylish, upbeat, and family-friendly — Moxies tends to be a little more upscale in terms of pricing. Expect to spend around $30–$35 per dish, depending on what you order. If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly dining experience, Earl’s or Turtle Jack’s are solid alternatives. But if you’re willing to splurge a bit for excellent food, great service, and a vibrant setting, Moxies is definitely worth a visit.

Went on a Sunday at 6pm. Food was absolutely delicious, staff was excellent, atmosphere is great. Round table had plenty of space for our slightly large group. For appetizer we got the veggie nachos with extra cheese, super delicious. The extra cheese cost 6$ but they layered it so well it was worth it. My main was the chicken rigatoni I asked to make it spicy and add the garlic prawns mixed into it. It was FANTASTIC. Really really good. For a drink I got a Pineapple Lemon Craft Soda with a bit more pineapple in it and it was so damn good. Probably my fav drink at Moxie's now. Ordered two cuz I really liked it. The rest of the family (7 adults 1 kid) fish tacos, beef dip, and steaks were superb as well. Our waiter, I think named Christian, was super chill and we really appreciate the space he gave us to eat in peace and checked in on us once in a while (some locations I think management pressures staff to frequently check in on a table which can be annoying). Christian tried to tell me the tip is added to the bill but my table was so loud I couldn't hear him, so 18% was added but I wanted to do 25% and it wasnt until after I paid did I realise it didn't ask me for a tip. So for anyone else in a big group wanting to give a bigger tip just tell the waiter before hand! I'll remember for next time. All in all 5* and will 1000% be coming back.
