The Hidden Gem that is the Cornerstone of Our Community! Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ In the heart of our neighborhood stands a remarkable establishment that deserves every bit of praise it gets – our very own local grocery store. This charming little market has not only won my heart but has become the cornerstone for our community's daily needs. From the moment you step through the door, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel like part of the family. The store may be small in size, but it's enormous in character and choice. The shelves are thoughtfully stocked with a wide selection of goods, ranging from staple pantry items to exotic ingredients that are hard to find elsewhere. The produce section deserves a special mention, as it showcases a vibrant array of fruits and vegetables that are always fresh and often locally sourced. It's a true testament to the store's commitment to supporting local farmers and providing customers with the best quality goods. One of the most impressive aspects of this grocery store is the exceptional customer service. The staff here go above and beyond to ensure that every shopping experience is a delightful one. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help you find what you're looking for or recommend new products that might suit your taste. But this store isn't just about great products and friendly faces; it's also about convenience. The layout is intuitive, making it easy to navigate the aisles and find what you need quickly. And if you're ever in a rush, their checkout process is swift and efficient, ensuring you're in and out in no time. The deli counter is a hidden gem within this treasure trove, offering an assortment of fine cheeses, cold cuts, and ready-to-eat meals prepared daily. The aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries from the in-house bakery is simply irresistible and has become a staple for my weekend mornings. Furthermore, the store is incredibly community-oriented. They often host events and support local causes, reinforcing the sense of togetherness that makes our neighborhood special. In conclusion, if you're looking for a grocery store that offers quality products, personalized service, and a sense of community, look no further. This small grocery store is a five-star experience in every sense. It's not just a place to shop; it's a place that enriches our community and makes life a little bit better with each visit.

We really like supporting local and often come here for good deals. However the last visit was a little disappointing as we ordered 7 steaks for a dinner party and paid for 7 but found out we only got 6. By the time we found out we were already 2.5 hours from Winnipeg at the cottage, so we hoped we could get this resolved during our next visit, however unfortunately the grocery store said there was nothing they could do for us as we didn’t have the receipt and the photo does not tell them more information. Cashiers and staff are friendly. Next time hopefully it does not happen again.

This place is a local favorite. Really enjoy the options. It’s the right size where you find everything you need easily. All the employees have been here for a long time. It’s got a great community feel. I usually don’t do my main shop here since I’m usually picking my kids up from school and walking home. I frequently get the breads and veggies and protein here. Great place to buy deli meat and hotdogs too. Also occasionally pick up clay over Biranyi or the samosas.

Lilac Food Fare is just a great family run grocery store. I have visited two of their other locations and they are both very good but this is my go to one being only a five minute walk from where I live. It is so nice to go to a store where you are recognized as a person and not just another "number" in the queue. It certainly doesn't't have the square footage of a larger grocer but they have an adequate selection to meet my needs. Their meat is just excellent and they will go out of their way to make sure you are getting what you need. Noticed in one of the previous reviews a customer had purchased some inedible fruit. One time I bought some meat that was off (that can happen anywhere)and it was exchanged no questions asked. I highly recommend this business and if you reside anywhere near Corydon and Lilac I suggest you give it a try. You won't be disappointed! During the pandemic I email my order and they drop it off outside my door. Usually within...

Jordan’s Principal clients were getting ripped off by making most clients shop at this specific store. $60 for tide pods is a little ridiculous. Also it’s a bit small to be called a grocery store there is not a lot of selection and the prices are double than other food fares in the city. It’s a bit of a discrimination against the clients who shop here through AMC and Jordan’s Prinicpal to be charging twice as much. Also very bad customer service when the employees limit the Jordan’s principal clients and not let them purchase laundry, or cleaning supplies even though it’s approved and on the shopping list. We are Glad cantors has been made the new shopping spot for AMC. They treat their customers a lot better and show appreciation to their aboriginal shoppers,...
