I got the chance to go here last week for the first time. Ordered the vegan option that they had which was a banana nice cream base. Was informed that there was no more vegan whipped cream left while in the process of them making my dish and asked if they could make up for it by adding more rolls instead. I told them it was fine as I still wanted to try it, but was disappointed as I knew I would miss the taste of my ice cream due to it's absence, which I did.
The ice cream was decent. The missing whipped cream definitely lowered my taste experience and rating of course. I'm also comparing it to vegan rolled ice cream I've had in other cities, and would say I preferred those as they used a coconut milk base instead of banana.
The service was really good - they were very friendly in helping me order explaining the vegan options and very apologetic, and seemed to genuinely feel bad about running out of the vegan whipped cream.
Although the rating for the ice cream itself was about a 3, quality of service was a 5 which is why I gave it 4...

Presentation is a+ as was service. The shop is a cool little place full of pink. You feel like they built this shop around what an instagrammers heart might desire. It's very photo worthy.
That being said, how does it taste? We were very happy with the taco rolled ice cream (we did matcha today) The drinks, flavorwise, they were ok. Might have to try more items. The two were the Ernie (comes with rubber duck) and the rocket Rose (a bubbling dry ice presentation). You don't get a lot of drink in the rocket Rose as a lot of it is the presentation.
Pricing is higher than I would like.
Parking is corydon parking. We got a spot when we went but often it can be very busy and difficult. As they do not open until after 4pm, you can't just go in the earlier time when it might be less busy...
Read moreWe had a birthday party for my 7-year old daughter there on the weekend, and it was incredible. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the ice cream was awesome, and the kids all had the times of their lives.
Even with a room full of 5-8 year old girls who had 2 years worth of pent-up energy from the confines of COVID, they never seemed to grow tired of us, and treated everyone wonderfully.
The ice cream that the kids made was such a treat for them, and they all had a blast sampling their ingredients, writing their recipes, and making labels for their containers.
I would highly recommend Milksmith for anyone looking for something fun and unique to do for their child's birthday. Heck, I'm in my 40's and I might even want to do my...
