C9 Grill & Bar — Restaurant in Winnipeg

Today we have visited this place for the first time (spoiler alert: it’s not gonna be the last). The place meets you with simple but cozy decor and friendly staff.

The lady working there helped us to choose the best hookah for us since it was our first time here. We ordered Hawaii hookah that was super fresh and pleasant. I have to mention that the guy working there paid special attention to our visit, checking us out time-after-time making sure hookah worked perfectly- I have to note that that’s the only place staff actually pays attention to your hookah, in other places you always have to call someone out, check coals condition for yourself and if you are not an experienced smoker it could be a problem- but not with this place, 10/10 for sure.

We weren’t quite hungry today (gonna check more of a menu next time), but garlic parmesan fries stole our hearts - crispy, full of flavours, yummy 🤤 10/10

C9 on Corydon is hands down one of the best hookah spots in the city! The ambiance is super chill and modern, with cozy seating and music that sets the perfect vibe whether you’re there to relax or hang out with friends. Their hookah selection is top-tier — smooth pulls, great flavor variety, and the staff are pros at keeping everything fresh and running perfectly.

The food was also a pleasant surprise — way more than just a hookah lounge. Everything we ordered came out fresh and full of flavor. The shawarma and wings were favorites at our table. Drinks were great too, both the mocktails and cocktails were well-balanced and nicely presented.

What really made the experience stand out was the service — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care about creating a good time for their customers.

Definitely recommend C9 if you’re looking for a solid night out on Corydon. Will be coming...

TOTAL SCAM OF A BUSINESS! We went in and there was literally NO ONE ELSE THERE. That should have been the first red flag. Their bartender is arrogant, unprofessional, and probably not even licensed to serve drinks. When we complained, the owner didn’t care—instead, they started making up fake stories in Google reviews to cover their lies!

They even had the nerve to claim customers bring their own alcohol just to dodge responsibility for their horrible service. There’s CCTV footage to prove we did nothing wrong—but of course, they won’t show it because it exposes their lies.

The music was so bad that people were yawning at their tables. And when we asked them to improve it? More excuses, more lies. This place is a joke, and the owner is too busy faking reviews instead of fixing the actual problems.
