Cabanas Raupa exudes a welcoming atmosphere. It started at the airport where we were greeted with two leis, a warm smile and sage advise on how best to finesse the National Park system. (Almost all other visitors got in a very long line to buy the pass at the airport, rather than buying the obligatory park pass in town, next to rental car office). ||Thereafter, The owner’s charming sister Victoria drove us first to get a rental car at the best rate possible and then guide us to our two bedroom rental house.||||The house itself was not lavish but fully adequate in every way, with a good kitchen, lanai, large fridge, effective shower, quality bed etc. etc.||||For bonus points Victoria arranged for her niece to drive us to the airport at the end of our three-day stay and also escorted us one night to watch Easter Island’s gala evening festival. What a great place to stay. It's an easy walk to everywhere, even the airport. Grocery shopping is within one minute. 5 minutes to Moia. 8 minutes to great restaurants.

The rooms are all well-appointed cabanas. Full kitchen, real hangers in the closet, comfy bedding, private deck. The wi-fi is strong.

The property is at the edge of town, so nice and quiet. It feels like a stay in a country inn, but very close to everything.

From a safety standpoint, the whole place feels really safe. The sort of place where you don't need tonlock your doors.

The staff/owner is super helpful and knowledgeable. I locked myself out at 6am, and my place was open before I returned from my walk.
