NYC has the Central Park; Hong Kong has the Victoria Park. Right in the middle of the city there sits a big piece of green that mostly occupied by exercising elderlies for that extra dose of chill. Accessing the Park is easy, either by the subway (Causeway Bay Station) or various bus routes as there are entrances on three of the four sides of the rectangular park (not much access from the north).

There are tons of stuff you cannot do in the Park; especially no bicycle or skateboarding. There is a kiosk selling unhealthy food right in the middle of the park and it’s a must try for tourists. Most facilities require/allow advance booking such as the tennis court. But if you just wanna walk around then it’s perfect fine. There is a jogging loop within the park but it’s only 650 meters long so seriously what was the park designer thinking.

Anyway, nice having this park in the city. The rest of the land is now mostly occupied by concrete buildings and most of them are...

One of the well-equipped and outstanding public park in Hong Kong. It is located in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong island. You can go there by various public transportation means. By taking MTR and look for Exit E at MTR Causeway Bay Station is the fastest and most convenient way to get there. There is a big public indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, soccer fields, basketball courts and many other facilities inside the park. Also, different themes of public Fair/Show will be held in this park, eg. the Chinese New Year Fair, the Hong Kong Flower Show, the Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo etc. It is a nice place for jogging as well as for the foreign domestic maids to take rest during holidays. It is also famous as the starting line for various public parades to be held in Hong Kong. We called it the park for Hong Kong...

Very nice park, big quiet in some area, a getaway place in the heart of the city. Walking through the park you can get fresh air, nice and new flowers along the side walks. Great facilities for work out people, tracking field for people who like to jog. Pebble paths that allows you to do a bit of acupuncture on your own, you can even pick the intensity that fits you. Playgrounds for children and a big grass field for family picnic. Besides it also has few big football and basketball courts...
