NYC has the Central Park; Hong Kong has the Victoria Park. Right in the middle of the city there sits a big piece of green that mostly occupied by exercising elderlies for that extra dose of chill. Accessing the Park is easy, either by the subway (Causeway Bay Station) or various bus routes as there are entrances on three of the four sides of the rectangular park (not much access from the north).
There are tons of stuff you cannot do in the Park; especially no bicycle or skateboarding. There is a kiosk selling unhealthy food right in the middle of the park and it’s a must try for tourists. Most facilities require/allow advance booking such as the tennis court. But if you just wanna walk around then it’s perfect fine. There is a jogging loop within the park but it’s only 650 meters long so seriously what was the park designer thinking.
