Front Desk - Staff is fast Not warm friendly and smiling but this is common in HK I arrived 12noon but was made to wait for a room I really hate waiting I wish they can be like Harbour Plaza u arrive they immediately give u a room. I love there is free coffee in the lobby and the area is warm bec of heater. The staff should be observant of guests I was getting cappuccino I already made 2 cups after noticing that it seems the milk is missing I approached the frontdesk and this was the only time she told me the machine was out of milk. There is a 7-11 beside them how come nobody restock the milk of the machine This hotel does NOT have a restaurant so NO inhouse breakfast. Please disable the voice prompt of your lift it is too loud and noisy for me I just want to go up to my room in peace and QUIET. There is Laundry room but a big expensive HK40 per load. The hotel is also not so accessible not close to MTR DingDing and A11 or bus going to airport. Room - Small but clean perfect for solo traveller I love it has a proper closet There is a fridge but not so cold. I wish the hotel can provide HBO CNN BBC in the TV Channels for English-speaking guests like me. The shower area is too small Im a petite person and have difficulty moving/bathing. The hairdryer is not so strong wish u can change it to 1600W to quickly dry thick-haired people. I suggest this hotel provide BonAqua or Watsons distilled/purified water in the lobby and just provide water pitcher in every room which guests can use bec I really dont want to drink tap water as Im in a foreign country and getting diarrhea or amoebiasis can be very troublesome for me I also do NOT like the mineralized water provided in the room as it has HIGH Sodium content which can damage my kidney. The bathroom is very mouldy not being...
Read moreI don’t know how this hotel can be rated a 4 star. At best this should only be given a 3 star. I’ve stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in total and the experience is really not great. Mind you this is $100 a night on average. 1) lobby does not smell good and the carpet that welcomes you is literally filled with dust and dirt, if you can’t have it professionally cleaned regularly at least get a new one once every 6 months. 2) the lift was out of order for almost the entire booking period, there is only 2 lifts avail and the service staff uses the same lift to do house keeping, imagine having to fight for the lift in the AM. I empathize with the staff but it takes me around 10 mins every morning to get from 25th floor to ground floor. 3) the air condition on the floor while you’re waiting for the lift does not work, so you’re already sweating balls even before you head out. This is unacceptable. 4) they charge you 5HKD for water!! This is a 4 star hotel and they don’t provide you water in your room?! 5) the lobby is in a mess and boxes of documents laying everywhere 6) they only provide you with 2 disposable toothbrush in the morning and come to clean your room once a day, if you miss the AM timing they won’t clean your room twice, what a pressure to wake up innit? You’ll be better off taking your monies to any nearby hotels and I’m sure it’ll be better...
Read moreWe booked a twin room a month in advance but were told on arrival that the hotel only had a room with a double bed available. When we insisted that we required separate beds, a twin room was somehow found for us, which we were thankful for. However, the room was very small and lacked sufficient space for two medium-size suitcases. The bathroom facilities were the worst we have encountered. The shower was filthy, with substantial blooms of pink and black mould. The door to the toilet area pivoted to become the shower door and couldn't be closed properly, inevitably resulting in significant leakage onto the floor around the toilet. Exacerbating this was the inadequate drainage system, which caused a two-inch-deep puddle of water to form at the base of the shower. When we requested additional bathmats, the hotel willingly obliged. The toilet-roll cover also appeared to be covered in green mould. The atomised glass showerscreen provided suitable privacy. Thankfully, the bedding was clean, and the beds were comfortable. A kettle was provided, although there was no safe power outlet to plug it into, and no complimentary tea or coffee was available. This hotel was certainly not on par with other 4-star hotels we have stayed at. We always try to err on the positive side when reviewing hotels, but we would advise against choosing to stay...
