CAUTION CAUTION, this place will overcharge you. Carefully review your bill before paying. I don't consider the menu to be too expensive, it's reasonably priced for where you are and what you get, rather I believe that the bill often has items added or incorrectly up priced from what you actually ordered.
I actually really enjoy the live band and dancing on the weekends. It's a good night out. However, most times that I've been there the bill had multiple other items added to it.
This is not a one time error - it happens all the time. Last night our bill was an incredibly $60 more than it should have been. When you point out the error there is no discussion they just take back the overcharged bill and bring a correct bill. I noticed that they billed for the more expensive wine instead of the house wine. That would have been $24 overcharge, I didn't even notice the extra food items they included, but the new correct bill also removed the extra food bringing down the charge by $60. Because they bill in colones, not dollars, it is difficult to know exactly what you are paying especially after a night of eating and drinking with 6 friends.
I come here often when I am in Costa Rica (yearly) and this happens even with the most simple of orders. And once you point out the error be prepared to wait. Last night we noticed the extra charges after the bill was paid and the waitress really dragged her butt in reversing...

I would say, don't spend to much gambling here, just enjoy yourself with pretty good food, music & drinks.
I was surprised the big TV screen was playing the Packers vs the Rams. We ate dinner here & ordered ribeye steak dinners. Steaks were grilled served with mashed potatoes & vegatebles.
The casino has security guard in front that checks your bags & has customer walk through the metal detector at the door. It seems everywhere there are security guards at the entrance. Many or most buildings in Costa Rica have gates around their prelimeter. ...
