Restaurante Malinche — Restaurant in Río Segundo

Eat literally anywhere else . We sat down for 15 minutes without being greeted after being told to sit anywhere and they would bring us menus, still had to go to the counter to get our menus. 10 minutes after that we finally get service for drinks and put our food in. People who came in after us were getting the same food we ordered before us. We waited FOURTY FIVE MINUTES before we were about to leave then magically out food came out 10 minutes after they said it was coming out. So we sit down because at this point we’re starving and our flight boards in 15 minutes. After receiving our food, the fries were so under cooked I could bent it end to end with no breaks like they dropped it in oil for 20 seconds so I asked the lady if I could get a new order of fries and this little girl really rolled her neck at me with an attitude and told me no ?! And we had to call a “manager” to get a new order of fries. Didn’t ever ask for a refund or discount and the workers gave us SO much attitude.

This restaurant first of all the people there are very friendly the food I was very surprised is really very good it's fresh and they give you a good amount so you really don't feel like you're getting cheated. I would so recommend that when you go to the airport in San Jose before you go to any other places you need to hit up this restaurant for food honestly I had their chicken quesadilla with their salsa and it was delicious it was so much better than the other places that I had tried other food with again great service to people that are very friendly very attentive I was so impressed that honestly for a moment that I forgot I was at an airport cuz you normally don't get this kind of service at an airport I got to say again really great place to find to go eat get a good meal before you...

There may be two locations at the airport, but I went to the one that was more like a deli near the international pick up where many of the tour buses wait. It was, as far as I could see, the only place to eat once a passenger exited the airport. I arrived in the middle of the day, but many of the sandwiches were already taken and not replaced, so my options were slim. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich, which had very little ham. The taste was just fine and it served the purpose of filling me up before a long drive, but beyond that it was not special...
