Bar Imperial — Restaurant in Río Segundo

Horrible experience. We ordered two breakfasts that came out cold. Paid. 7.50 US$ for a strawberry batida. When I got the bill it said $49.90 but it only added up to $40 and some change. I asked the waiter about this and he said taxes. I asked why that wasn’t on the bill and also why it was so much ( I live in Costa Rica and I know that taxes are not 23%). I then asked him does that also include service and he said yes. Then I asked him why he didn’t tell me that and he started screaming at me and said he was going to call the police. So I went to the bar and asked the ladies behind the bar if I could speak to the manager. They said the manager was upstairs doing something and they were not interested in getting him/her but while I was t talking to them the crazy waiter came up and started screaming again that he was going to call the police. I never raised my voice. I just left. I would never go back...

Terrible experience! I was excited since Imperial is an iconic costa rican brand, and I love their beer. But apparently they can’t keep this restaurant up to par.

I ordered a burger, which was completely raw. I tried sitting down on one end of the restaurant first, since I’m not comfortable sitting on bars. I think out of laziness, I was asked to move to a different place, and not sit towards the left side. So I moved, only to be ASKED TO MOVE AGAIN. Ok, fine. Lets try the food. Disgusting.

I had food poisoning the whole flight. This has single handedly been the worst airport food I’ve ever had. Please understand how much that says - I’ve had disgusting food before but the service here, the food are just unacceptable.
