If you're a tourist looking for souvenirs or packaged local produce to bring home, this is not the place for you - stick to the old town! We learnt it the hard way after taking the 1-hour walk here from the old town.

The market felt very much like a flea market with extremely random (and used-looking) clothes and other poor quality household items being sold. Half of the indoor market seems to be dominated by elderly Brits who have moved to Paphos and were selling things found in their house?!

There are perhaps 2-3 shops selling vegetables and fruits.

Duck Pond Market open Wednesday and sunday. Local market and car boot sales. Some stalls selling fresh fruit and vegetables, few cafe stalls. Some new item stalls selling shoes, handbags , sports and leisure wear. Lots of second hand car boot type stalls mostly selling DVDs and books lots of opj,s (other people's junk ) nice big car park .
