Este pequeño mercado, no se caracteriza por la variedad en los productos que se ofertan o por la atención que brinda a sus clientes , ni siquiera por los precios de los productos, lo que hace realmente diferente a este mercado es que no se encuentra repleto de gente como lo están otros mercados de la ciudad, se puede caminar a gusto por los corredores y tomarse todo el tiempo necesario para elegir que comprar sin que exista una persona de tras de ti apurando tu paso. Si bien no es muy variado, sin embargo cumple con proveer lo básico para la preparación de alimentos, revisar siempre que recibas productos frescos y en buen estado. Las instalaciones son cómodas, los puestos de venta están divididos por el tipo de producto, entiéndase frutas, legumbres, tubérculos, en la planta alta puedes encontrar comida tradicional ecuatoriana a precios accesibles, habiendo visitado el lugar y comido allí, puedo decir que la comida es aceptable un 7 sobre 10, si van a probar la comida, recomiendo el cerdo al horno "hornado", con maíz blanco cocido "mote pelado" y tortillas de papa...

Well organized and clean market with enough food stalls to satisfy any hunger. We arrived after 4 p.m. and there was still possibility to eat a lunch (2$ a meal).
