My accommodations fell through in Dahab when I arrived so I took one of those truck taxis to Coral Coast to meet my friend who lives nearby.
Once there I loved the vibe so much that I booked my entire planned stay at the hotel. I never regretted that decision. It's more pricey than getting a flat, but it's got the best service and they're always on hand to advise or even protect. Being a woman traveling alone I felt very safe here. I can't say enough about this place.
The owners are tremendously impressive and their staff is welcoming, fun and professional.
There is a lot going on here so if you stay, prepare to be in a social Hotspot of Dahab. They have a bar and great music until midnight plus a lot of other activities like salsa dance. There's a really cool yoga studio plus massage therapists on hand and a diving center. You can even swim out from their beach.
My personal favorite part about the spot is the dogs. Plus the fact that if you want to meet people in Dahab all you have to do is hang out at that bar and be friendly. If you don't like dogs and cats you shouldn't go to Dahab, but as dogs go, the Coral Coast dogs are a top notch pack. They act as hosts, and they will be your friend. The cats are cool too even though they can be pests when you're eating.
I can go on and on but I had an amazing time there for a few months and felt like I became part of a family. So, thank you Coral Coast. I will...

Bood Ahmad 1/5 16 minutes ago on Google I stayed in the hotel for 7 nights with a price of 600 EGP per night and i have to say my honest opinion seriously this hotel is not worth it at all the breakfast is poorly made and taste terrible and i got electrocuted while using the electric kettle which got wall paint stains on it and the soap which they provide is of very poor quality and the window was very dirty and the lighting in the room was very dim and the door knob was broken and when I asked them to fix it they did so poorly. The door can be opened by a simple push from a10 year old boy the balcony fence is very rusty and the furniture is very outdated and the balcony furniture is loose and dirty with wall paint stains on it. Overall this hotel does not worth but 50 percent of what i payed that's 300 EGP per night is a good price for it no more and that for sea view. Recommend penguin village is A great hotel to stay in seriously. And that's just my opinion and...
Read moreBooked last minute over Christmas on a diving trip with the attached dive centre. We arrived pretty late in the evening but staff were super helpful, got us checked in quickly and directed us to the attached bar/restaurant on the beach (quickly our favourite spot of the trip!). |Rooms are a great size - basic but nice and clean with comfy beds. We were comfortable enough without aircon and there was enough space for all our kit. The included buffet breakfast was lovely, Arabic selection plus fruit and fresh omelettes. I only took a quick dip in the pool as we were diving everyday. |Staff are fantastic - ever so helpful. We had a great laugh with the beach bar team and a lush Christmas dinner. |Highly recommend the spa, dive school (Fantasea) and the restaurant. Would definitely come back...
