I am not one to quickly give five starts but Blue Hen truly has it all! Already was a big fan of the Blue Hen since their place in Sarbet but now they are in Kazanchis and with an even more beautiful space! It is cozy, beautiful, private and has all you need! As an art and tealover I am so incredibly happy with the Blue Hen in Kazanchis.
The staff is incredibly kind, the interior is beyond stunning, the food display makes you crave more and more and anywhere you look at there is just so much fantastic things to see! I'm blown away by the beauty of this place and hope many more will discover this gem!
Oh and most definitely try out their (ham and) cheese...

Of course, this comes as no surprise to the cheese lovers of Addis, who have always looked forward to Achame's cheesy buffets at wine tastings. The couscous was well made and paired well with the beef stew. I bought one made of beeswax and I was quite content with the smell, however, after only 3 hours the flame had tunneled the candle and the wick now refuses to stay lit. Quite disappointed since it cost 1600 ETB (almost 10€). I will likely not purchase another candle from here, but there are some other interesting artisanal gifts that could be of interest to someone.
