This is a new place located in the middle of town, mainly serving Ethiopian food. The interior is decorated well and boasts an open kitchen - you can see the chefs in action if you want to. There is also a bar area.
Went on a Thursday and it was quiet - ours was one of two tables that was occupied. The five or so staff that were on duty left the restaurant as soon as we left at 21:30.
The food was good. We started with the table 5 special for two, something we (three guys), thought would satisfy us. It was a good choice and every dish was tasty. We particularly enjoyed the dirkosh firfir (with quanta) and ordered one more. It was definite one dish too much for the three of us and we couldn’t finish it. It was also berbere heavy unlike what was included in the table 5 special - so I advise you to say that you don’t want it to be berbere heavy if you can’t handle it 😃
A good place and experience...
Read moreThe food at your establishment was excellent, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. However, we had an issue with the service. Despite multiple requests for spoons, it took a considerable amount of time to receive them, and even then, they were brought out one at a time. The server mentioned that they had to retrieve them from the store, which added to the delay.
Additionally, while the manager was present, they did not address the situation and appeared unprofessional, chewing gum during service.
We truly appreciate the quality of the food and look forward to dining with you again. However, we hope the service experience will be smoother and more...
