Disappointed. We were really excited to go here and booked the tour in advance. Our tour consisted of 10 people, only two of which were native French speakers. The entire tour was conducted in French, so we really didn’t understand anything of what we saw in the buildings. That was really a shame. If we had known the tour was going to be in French, we could’ve prepared ourselves for that. We certainly never expect everything to be in English, but it would have been nice to know in advance. Our guide didn’t seem to care that most of the participants in the tour could not understand her. I am glad this was included in our City Pass because if we had paid for it, we would’ve been extremely...
Read moreThis is a fairly small operation and the staff/owners seem very friendly. We had a tour and tasting in English, which was nice - make sure you book in advance. The tour was really interesting and our guide was happy to answer questions. Overall it is well worth a visit, as there are some unique aspects of the distillery and their products that you will not find anywhere else in the world. Looking back, one thing that could have been done better was the glassware for tasting. The little plastic cups don't allow you to fully experience the whiskey, especially on the nose, which is a shame because it is such a unique product (I doubt you would find those cups at any wine tasting in...
