Hermès Saint-Tropez — Local services in Draguignan

I am recurrent client for the Hermes Miami boutique but on our wedding anniversary trip to St. Tropez we stopped by the Hermes Boutique in St. Tropez and where greeted by everyone! Our experience was amazing, same if not better than when we usually shop. We were taken care by Zoe, such a nice experience she gave us. She walked us through and showed us the entire boutique, then she took her time to help me find a perfect matching buckle and belt, size for boots for my husband and later on shoes for myself. We were offered water, champagne and coffee. Some items we where looking for where not available in St. Tropez but she mention if we where going to Paris to stop by the Hermes Boutique in 17 rue le Sevres. The worst experience among all Hermes boutiques I had been. I have been to boutiques at Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille and Aix en Provence, although most of the time they don’t have the bags or other stocks you want to buy, the staff were lovely and polite as and attentive. At St tropez boutique, the young blonde girl who wears a swatch watch and have an American/Canadian accent was totally rude. She told us ‘No bag received for one week and they received notification that they won’t receive any bags till July’ which is so fine. Then I said can I still have a look? Maybe some card holders? Or small leather goods? She said yes, upstairs please, then she was on her phone. We have to wait for her to finish on her phone then come to upstairs with us. We walked into this Hermes store expecting luxury, but instead we were met with icy glares and outright rudeness from sales associates Morgane and Gwendolina. Their evil attitude and zero smiles made it clear we weren’t welcome. Rumor has it they even keep the quota bags for themselves and sell them to locals who flip them for double the price! Unlike at other Hermes locations where the staff actually sells Kelly bags to valued customers instead of keeping them for themselves. Don’t waste your time and money there and shop at Chanel and Loro Piana instead. I’ve experienced far better service at Hermes in London and Qatar.

I will never shop there again, nor recommend it to anyone I know. Whoever is responsible for employing these two clearly has a lot to learn about...
