Ok breakfast spot in a good location. Food is clean and does what is advertised - no real complaints here, just standard inflated prices of the area (120euro for 3people breakfast with average coffee). However, it is a mixed review regarding service. There is one very helpful and charismatic waiter called Brian who gives 110% but ultimately has way too much to do. I cannot speak more highly of Brian and his service deserves to be noticed. Unfortunately there are two long haired male waiters who are not as proactive and do their very best to offload responsibilities…not taking our orders after asking multiple times (telling you to find someone else), sending you to the bar to pay (even though we payed at the table the past two mornings) and frankly don’t really want anything to do with you. Which ultimately makes you not want to come back.
The final piece of hopefully constructive criticism is that the bathroom looks like it has never been cleaned and was quite frankly disgusting without needing to go into more details. This is coming from someone who is not familiar with the luxury and lavishness...
Read moreHad a very disappointing experience at the cafe MAME. We have ordered scrambled eggs with truffle which ended up being a massive bomb of badly cooked eggs with a truffle paste (a mix of champions and truffle oil). Although, on the many there is no reference to this at all.
The most disappointing was the way the staff handled our complaint. The girl who we approached claimed that this is the way everyone else around makes the truffle dishes. She even compared MEME to the neighbour place “cafe de Paris” which seems wierd to have a reference to. They clearly saw that we did not like the dish and did not want to eat it and did nothing about it. Overall, we ended with a total bill of 50EUR and left...
Read moreI can't believe this restaurant has only been open for 5 days. I have eclectic taste buds, but my husband is VERY PICKY when it comes to food. My husband and I think this is the best food we've had in France! Unfortunately, we were only in St. Tropez long enough to have brunch. The menu has great ingenuity. The pictures do not lie. We both had Salers. I had fresh presses orange juice which was AWESOME! The Tropezian Sangria is now on my favorites list. Try this place if you're in St. Tropez, a don't forget to give them 5 stars. I need Mame to be a long standing restaurant in St. Tropez so I can come back the next time I visit France! Great food and...
