Really frustating experience, Saturday 15th July 2023.
We spend our holidays in the area for my sister´s birthday, I asked her what she wanted for her birthday gift and she finally decided for a pair of LV sunglasses. We arrived 30 minutes before the close time and asked one member of the staff who was from Taiwan. In a very hostile and rude way he attended us.
He did not want to sell us the sunglasses at all, he spoke to us very badly, did not help at all but we proceed as it was our last day and we do not have LV shops nearby. I asked for a glass of champagne (in English) and rudely in French he replied that it was already closed. The glasses that he brought were new but were a bit dirty and "we" had to call another member of the staff to clean them because he didn´t. Once the glasses were ok, we informed him that we wanted to request the tax free. We know the sanctions to Russia but Russian passport of UK residence is not a problem. He completely denied and we asked him to check, after a long time saying no, he checked and he said no. Unfortunately for him, his colleague came, asked if we wanted something to drink (just water as it was already over 10pm) and she confimed that we could take the tax refund.
Then we went to the cashier, I paid, and he very rudely said that the system did not take the passport, after trying to deny the use of my credit card for the tax refund. Without even ask if we wanted to take the glasses without the tax refund, he gave me my money back and proceed to kick us from the store.
I understand the problem was with this employee in particular but the moment and circumstances in which it happened were very shocking, since the first minute and without any aparent reason (apart from speaking Russian, even though I am not Russian and I even don´t speak it that well). The dinner was very sad because of this and the fact of thinking that I came back from holidays without giving her a gift and not being able to see her again in a long time... (we live in different countries)... Unbeliable.
And the store was...
Read moreAWFUL! Don’t order items to be delivered at CDG! I made the mistake of letting myself be convinced by a re-assuring store staff to order an item to be delivered at CDG for pick up in my departure date. I was skeptical but the sales person greatly re-assured me that with more than a week there would be no problem. So I proceeded with the purchase. The sales person wasted no time sending me a payment link that I completed right away. So while I was in Paris, and purchased a couple items at the Champs Élysées store, I did not bother asking for the item I ordered from the St Tropez store. On departure day, well first of all, the sales staff at the Terminal 2AC is amateurish and not of the caliber of the brand, I was made to wait a long time. While waiting I asked one of the female sales staff to talk to the manager or the person in charge, she responded « we’re all in charge monsieur » with an ignorant intonation. Then I was told that the sales person in St Tropez had not informed them of my purchase and that I would not be getting my item. When I asked for a refund, I was categorically told that they could not issue a refund because they did not have my item in their possession and that I would have to wait a week for the refund 🤮. My advice, don’t order items to be delivered to the airport and Benoit Arnault, improve your sales staff training, the experience at your store is in...
Read moreHorrible experience since August 2022 with the Saint Tropez FR shop and their global blue tax refund! We are 12 months now and still waiting to approve our tax refund. Luis Vuitton is blocking it because of huge bureaucracy and internal errors. They are completely unprofessional and nothing to do with the LV luxury brand in the rest of the world. We gave them for tax refund the proof of address, residence status, French police GlobalBlue form validation at the French border, passport copy 3 times already and still our refund is blocked by St Tropez store! I think they are not used to selling to international customers like the London or Paris stores. They do not respond to emails and customer service is 3rd world country but they sell very expensive items. Do not buy anything if you are not from France. Amatures! We still wait for our tax refind 12 months now and nobody is replying to our emails and calls. Avoid...
