Came on a Monday night when they just opened while most other restaurants were closed (although their google hours stated they were open all day while in reality they opened at 7pm like most other restaurants). Was seated very quickly right the outside in the center of town square and the staff was quick to offer wine. It’s a very cute scene just people watching and really where you want to be to get the French experience. While service was not as attentive, I think that’s customary outside of US and dinner was still finished in 1.5 hours. Was given olive paste with bruschetta upon sitting which was tasty. Seabream tartar was underwhelming, but the duck with gnocchi puffs was delicious. Taking dessert home was “not possible” so skipped that, although I did want to try the lemon cheesecake. Overall, nice atmosphere, descent food and good prices but not blown out of the water.

Placed at the towns square it's a busy atmosphere with several restaurants around. We got good service as soon as we got seated but after drinks the whole thing slowed down to a halt. This made us go elsewhere for coffee and desserts as we didn't want to wait. The l'escargot (snails) were a clear sub par experience and I didn't finish the dish. I the. Had shank of lam with potatoes which was nothing wrong with but was as bland and pointless as it gets. The others at the table were ok with their food but not raving about it. This was Sunday evening and it was quite a busy night for them but as I sit there writing the review they still hasn't come to receive payment.

After walking 'in rectangles' we decided to find a restaurant in the back alleys of Valbonne thinking they would be less pricey. We were pretty disappointed. We ended up checking Terra Rossa and sat there due to their generally affordable menu and amazing location at the plaza. And they did not disappoint one bit. Got a tiny dish of olive paste with bread when we sat. The staff were also friendly, attentive as well as flexible with our order, the food was DELICIOUS and the portions were quite filling. The flavours of the region presented beautifully.

If you want a home made style of food, with a familial support , small restaurant that produces on a daily basis there produce fresh - yes it still exists those people that believe in making the customer feel at home serve a healthy offering . I go there at least once a week / consistently i get home made fresh food. I love the tartare de Boeuf đŸ„° I simply love and I consume it regurlatly! The church bells in th background a good meal excellent wine and an familial service that goes with it !! Keep it a secret - I don’t want this to get to the grand public ! Let’s keep it between...
