Café Latin — Restaurant in Grasse

It was a nice setting and our waitress was very friendly. Unfortunately three of our party ordered chicken skewers which arrived cooked on the outside but completely raw inside. Another ordered fish which was also uncooked. They took them back and served new meals which were then cooked but with no apology at all. When the bill arrived we were charged for an extra drink. I said we were very disappointed with our experience and the owner came over and became VERY angry. He said there was no problem as the food was cooked the second time. He was shouting very loudly and scared my son so much he burst into tears. I would not recommend this restaurant as the customer service was appalling and we could have ended up with four adults with...

This looks like a great place and indeed the food is very good. However, as many others have commented, the owner can be really rude. I went in last time for a coffee (only), which I thought should be possible given the name of the establishment. The answer is, yes, you can get a coffee but expect to treated extremely poorly by the owner if that's all you consume. When I asked to pay, he told me to 'pay the dog'. I get the impression that if you know the owner and above all if he thinks you're going to spend a lot of money, he is fine. But if he thinks you're a random tourist without a fat wallet he can be beyond rude. Really a shame because the location is perfect, the food is good and the staff are...

Nous sommes venus pour manger de la pasta aux crustacés, affiché sur le menu. A 13heures, les plats avec les gambas ou crevettes n'était plus disponibles, pourtant, Valbonne est à un pas de la mer, on n'est pas en haut Savoie ni à Lille ici). La parmiggiana, qui nous avons commandé en remplacement, était trop salé et trop acide (ci qui arrive quand on utilise les conserves), le parmesan râpé était également industriel (fait de la croute, du bambou et des pommes de terre), sans aucun gout. Bref: Si vous voulez mangez une cuisine authentique, nous vous arrêtez pas devant la porte du Café Latin, vous pourriez être déçus... Les prix sont élèves vue la qualité et le service est hyper lent (20 min pour nous apporter l'additions dans un restaurant presque vide).
