Gelato Ice Cream Eis Cafe San Remo — Local services in Dusseldorf

I went there with my baby, and wanted to try ice cream before I ordered (this is what you can do at most of the icecream shops). I just tasted one flavor and asked to taste another flavor. One of the staffs approached me in the most unfriendly way, yelled at me and told me I couldn't just try all the flavors. There is nothing wrong if it is their company principle ' not to let anyone try flavors before ordering' ; but then: why did they let me try first? And they could have said this in a polite way; but she was aggressively yelling at me! When I told her that she didn't have to be such rude; she just said: "i don't need your advice!" Well, if you are going to an ice cream shop, the last thing you need is someone making you...

Ich habe noch nie einen so unverschämten Besitzer eines Eiscafes gesehen. Unsere Kinder wollten unbedingt eine Kugel Eis, aber es regnete stark. Deshalb holten wir uns Eis und setzten uns kurz nach drinnen, in das sonst leere Café. Es waren noch mindestens 5 weitere Tisch frei. Der Besitzer rief erst in einem sehr unangebrachten Ton hinter der Theke, dass wir uns nicht hinsetzen sollen. Wir sagten, dass wir in spätestens in 10 Minuten weg seien und dass wir nur die Kinder kurz sitzen lassen wollen. Dann kam er sehr patzig hervor, stellte sich zu uns und sagte, dass wir sofort gehen sollen und dass man als Erwachsener sowieso kein Eis im Hörnchen hier essen dürfe. Wir verwiesen auf den Regen, was ihm total egal war, worauf er auf seinen Servicepauschal bestand. Wir und die Kinder (2-5 Jahre) gingen dann.

Wir und unsere Freunde, die sonst auch zum Spielplatz um die Ecke kommen werden nie!!! wieder dieses Eiscafe betreten. Ich verstehe das Problem mit der Servicepauschale, aber es sind Kinder und es regnete stark. Wer keine Nachsicht mit Kindern in diesem Job hat ist...

Pretty disappointed with service here, they only let me try 1 flavor and when I sat down to eat my gelato they told me the gelato I got was to go only and I had to leave, even tho only 1 group of people were using their seats. I highly recommend u try someplace else, there are tons of gelato...
