805 Restaurant — Restaurant in Accra

First time here and I ordered for their mixed grill with a side of jollof rice. The mixed grill had chicken, beef and lamb. They didn’t taste fresh, they were hard and burnt especially the chicken very dried out. I struggled to chew. I was really disappointed because my friend recommended there for us to hang out when I tried so hard to convince her we should go elsewhere. The jollof was basic very basic and the rice was undercooked. The only good thing that happened to me was the mock tail I ordered. It was very refreshing and well done. However when I asked for my bill I was charged for a cocktail and when I brought their attention to it they insisted that whether alcohol or no alcohol the price is the same yet in their menu it isn’t the case. I decided not to make a big deal out of it but my friend did and they eventually took it out of the bill. My waitress compensated me with a pack of chicken wings for my whole experience though. I guess this is the only reason why I’m giving this place 3stars. I don’t think I’d ever go back but my friend highly recommended their seafood okro and buffet. Maybe I’ll consider that if I ever...

I had a great experience eating here alone. When I walked in I was quickly seated and my server was at my table in less than 10 minutes. I decided to order the Tilapia with banku and it was AMAZING. The fish itself was huge and the sauce was so delicious. I had a Star beer with the meal which made it that much better. I sent my sister a picture of my dinner and ended up ordering one for her to go. After receiving the bill I recognized that there was a charge for something I didn’t order and the server explained that it was placed on my check by another one of his fellow servers and that was a mistake. He instructed me to deduct the item from the total amount. I appreciate him for helping me resolve this, but I hope this is a message to everyone that they should just look at their bill carefully in order to ensure that everything is A-OK. 805 is the best restaurant I've been to in Accra. It's located in a prestine tree laned street Just that alone is worth 5 stars. Once inside, you will find yourself in a spacipus restaurant area, with tables spread widely for privacy. Hower, I recommend sitting outside, as you're surrounded by nature and tree lodge style of building, making one part of the eco system. My seafood Okra soups was well presented and tasteful. The portions are large though, so we were only able to finish 1/3 of our meals. Our waiter catered to us with great care and attention to detail. He waited on us with a smile, and even time coordinated when to serve our meals for every serving. Unlike other places where they dump your whole order at once, this was by far the best experience of fine dining. To sum it up. 805 is my new favourite restaurant in Accra.
