Wow, a small taverna snack place that can make a real CHEESEBURGER! Seriously, the food at this place is super tasty and they know what an American hamburger is supposed to look like and taste. Tough to do with Greek burgers as the meat patty. But this was good. The people are super nice too. My son walks 1km 3 times a week just to get their unbelievable gyros. Also, be sure and try the local sausage ---- brilliant. Go here.

One of the best "souvlaki" spots in Heraklion. It might not be easy to get at if you're a tourist but you can't argue with the taste. Their prices are also among the best in all of Heraklion. There is no outside seating and the inside seating is nothing to write home about, but that is not why you get something to eat from here. You get a bite from here if you want a really...

We ordered some pita and souvlaki there and the food was GREAT! Pita Gyros was lean and well seasoned. Will definitely eat again. Can't review the service but delivery was quicker...
