Midway Point Apts — Hotel in Municipality of Heraklion

Excellent value for money. We were greeted by owner and when he saw me struggling with suitcase he carried upstairs. Then he realised I hated stairs he transferred us next day to a downstairs apt. Everything was spotless, welcoming bottle of wine, biscuits, fruit and sweets. Only issue we had was the sofa in the lounge area. It was a Futon bed but also the sofa. Not one of us wanted to sit on it as too low and lumpy. Great location cafes and Tavernas. Easy access to Airport and into Heraklion centre...

Great place! The apartment is spacious and clean and close to the centre. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is comfortable. And I really liked the air freshener in the hall:) The only challenge is the extremely small bathroom, but if you are staying here for one or two nights it's ok:) And yes, you can experience the noise of starting airplanes but that's the pain of the whole east Heraklion and if you keep windows closed you...

Perfect place to stay before early or after late flight as it’s really close to the airport. Apartment is clean, good maintained, complementary bananas and spring water in.

Only issue is the location of the building as it’s in direct axis of the airport runway so be ready for really noisy seconds during planes takeoff. 😅

Cooling is only on bedroom, view from terrace limited. If you take it as one night stop on the way,...
