Shop: Taste is good. Variety is good, must be explored once who like food. Updated after Mango Mela April 2024: Again same rush, and very lengthy queue to get mango-based foods. Everywhere papers, plats, cups are thrown on the floor and no one to attend these littering. There were other stalls too, which are not related to mango, that means, more commercialized, there might have more money inflow, but again managed wrongly. I thought they might have improved after jan 2004, Avera-mela and I see, it is not. My views/recomendation is, avoid these Mela, that too especially on weekends. (learnt from two melas :) ) I think, feel, either people or the organized forgotten the hyginic practices. Kind request to Shree Vasavi Condiments to take care of these, as it is related to food, public healthy and public gathering.
Jan 2024: They arrange "Avare Mela" at Bangalore, that arrangement is not at all good. Too many people, no proper coordination and plan. Better to avoid it. A stain engrosses all colours. Ella banna Masi nungitu antha. ( I feel part of amount and effort spent on advertisement could have been diverted to organizing it, like, space between stalls, and proper assured queue processing time) I see lots of Youtube videos, Social Media ads, news coverage, but improper handling the crowd at Venue. (That too in the post Covid scenarios) Worst experience, waste of time and effort (we came all the way from other part of Bangalore to witness this). We just walked out of the crowd to other place. And many in the crowd were echoing my words. They came at 2pm and coming out at 7pm. Luckily I decided quickly. We are in 2023, and still old method of crowd handling...

Their specialty is Avarebele based snacks. During the annual food festival they make Avarebele vadas, Avarebele holige, Avarebele idlis, etc.
My favorite snack there is Avarebele mixtures. Even in that category they have multiple flavours of Avarebele mixtures- with garlic, with mint, with chilli powder, just salted and so on and so forth. If you are a foodie visiting this place is one pilgrimage...
Read moreWould give negative if it was possible, first of all, the personnel was nasty and mistreated us the entire time. When it came to billing, they took the money from us but claimed that we hadn't paid when, in fact, we had. We requested that they examine the CCTV camera. They claimed it wasn't operating. They discovered that we did paid when we asked them to check the serial numbers on the notes. They attempted to conceal the note, but when we requested them to display it to us, they blamed each other for being careless and made no attempt to make amends or apologise. Their customer service...
