Siri fort Golf Academy & Driving Range — Local services in Delhi

If it's your first time here, don't go and save yourself from discrimination and humiliation! Had a very discriminatory classist vibe to it. They have 2 levels, 1 at ground floor and 2nd at 1st floor. If you are a beginner or first timer, they will not allow you to play at ground level even if it has space (apparently its reserved only for members or for people who their own golf clubs and newbies will disturb them). You will have to wait till people clear on the first floor for you to be given your chance. For the bucket of golf balls, there was again more discrimination waiting. Even though we waited half an hour for our turn and we were first in the line for golf balls (for which we had to wait for more 15 mins since the cart was collecting the balls), the guy handing out golf balls gave balls to, in his words "badiya logo ko denge", which means yet again people at ground floor, even though they came late, he asked them to just relax and sit in the corner, enjoying juice and sandwich, and he collected golf balls for them and landed 2 buckets in their lap. While out group of 3, who were first, were given half of the balls and the rest we would have to collect later. Moreover, since they made us wait the closing time was near, and we only got about 45 mins of play time and then they switched of the lights on the 1st floor, on getting down at the ground floor, we got to see that no time restrictions were imposed on the "elite guys and girls". We’re closing our academy management and operations at Siri fort but are delighted to have provided a fantastic experience for our academy visitors and spreading mass awareness to popularise the game and get them to visit and experience the sport of golf.

The smile and conversations post usage by our visitors provided us motivation to make their experience the best we could.

Our Golf Management Operations lease of 3 years expired on 28th June 2024. We at the ROMITBOSEGOLF ACADEMY have closed all our golf promotional packages and programs including “The Players Cafe” at Siri Fort Golf driving range.

The Players Cafe (F&B only) has been relocated to Defence Colony Main Market and will open shortly. Cafe games will soon be introduced at our new venue.

Siri Fort Facility has been handed back to DDA by us.

Excellent golf practice range, an integral part of Sri Fort Sports Complex. The range has been very well laid out with adequate distance for dropping area. The barbed fencing is quite high and well supported by high towers. The whole range view is big covered dome encouraging one to hit long.

The facilities and staff is good. The pro shop available inside the range is adequately stocked and provides clubs on rent, in case you are not carrying the golf set along.

For using the range one has to first pay 59/- rupees as a casual membership charges for a day. These charges are to be paid at administrative block.
