Being a resident of Safdarjung Enclave and brought up in this side is the forever busy Delhi, Khel Gaon has been a play pad for me and my entire family and circle.
I visit Sirifort Complex for the fact that it’s one is the green venues in Delhi that is 7 minutes away from home. Whenever in India, I usually prefer Sirifort compared to others because I save time as compared to plying to other venues. I’m sharing some salient features of this wonderful cafe at Sirifort Sports Facility called- The Peepal Cafe-
a) You pay ₹50 and you get the right to carry your home cooked food and drinks into the complex and even into the Cafe. b) They offer complimentary hot and cold water to everyone. C) Even though being a privately run unit, the way of functioning is quite similar to a DDA outlet. Favouritism is the way of functioning of the restaurant manager- MR SUMIT. d) Waiting time for an espresso shot with hot water can be 30 minutes or more during the busy hours. e) Staff may unintentionally get rude because of the excessive work load that they undergo on a regular basis. You have to go prepared to be ignored, overlooked, and intentionally not paid attention because of the super trained manager Mr SUMIT, who says that he doesn’t care. f) Over billing/ getting double charging is common because the place is under staffed and at times staff tends to bill you wrong. And they are super cool about that.
I honestly feel that being the only F&B outlet Sirifort complex, Peepal Cafe monopolises and holds full authority to serve or not serve any guest as per their staffs personal wish and will.
I HOPE THAT THE OWNERS OF THIS WONDERFUL PLACE AT DELHI’s ONE OF THE GREENEST DESTINATIONS ARE AWARE OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED POINTS.
My personal review for this cafe approximately 80-90 seater cafe where the air con makes you sweat at 0830am in the morning is ZERO.
Request the people behind the show to take some serious steps as I feel that this cafe only goes packed because visitors at this DDA sports facility don’t have a second option for F&B or other wise….

Peepal Cafe is a lovely spot nestled within the Sports Complex, offering a peaceful environment that’s perfect for a relaxing visit. One of the perks is the free parking for cars, which adds to the convenience. However, to enter the cafe, you need to pay an entry fee of 50 Rs per person, but the good part is you can redeem this amount when paying your bill by handing the slip to the cashier.
The ambiance is serene and calming, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. You can choose your preference depending on availability. It’s an ideal place if you’re looking for a peaceful meal.
As for the food, Peepal Cafe offers a healthy selection of dishes along with a variety of beverages. I tried their grilled cheese sandwich and raagi chilla. The sandwich was exceptional, stuffed with a generous amount of vegetables and packed with flavor—something unique that you won’t find anywhere else. However, the raagi chilla, stuffed with paneer, had an issue—the peas were a bit too much and slightly undercooked, which I found disappointing.
I also had a cup of regular tea, which was just fine. The service was decent, though there seemed to be a staff shortage. You have to place your orders or make any requests at the counter.
Overall, Peepal Cafe is a great place to visit, especially if you want to enjoy some quiet time with your loved ones. Despite a few minor issues, I would recommend it for the peaceful vibe and healthy...
Read moreI have the pleasure of visiting this delightful coffee shop, and I must say it exceeded my expectations on multiple fronts. The cappuccino coffee here is an absolute gem. Rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, it's clear that the baristas take their craft seriously. Sumit, the head barista, deserves special commendation for consistently delivering exceptional cappuccinos.
But it's not just the coffee that stands out; the healthy food options are equally impressive. Ashish and his team whip up dishes that are both delicious and nutritious. From fresh salads to hearty grain bowls, they have something for every palate and dietary preference.
What truly sets this coffee shop apart, though, is the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Kajal, and Isha made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. Their attentive service and genuine smiles added a personal touch to the experience that is rare to find.
Overall, this coffee shop is a hidden gem in the city. The cappuccinos are divine, the healthy food options are a breath of fresh air, and the staff, led by Sumit, Ashish, sonu, Kajal, and Isha, make you feel like family. Whether you're looking for a morning pick-me-up or a wholesome meal, this place has it all. Highly...
