I have been a loyal customer of The Noodle Bowl for a long time and I used to adore their food, especially the momos which had an unbeatable taste. Few places can achieve such a thin crust and juicy stuffing. Their chicken dishes were also exceptional. However, my recent experiences have been disappointing. The momos are often unavailable and despite calling ahead and emphasizing my time constraints, my order wasn't ready when I arrived, leading to an hour-long wait. The once-delicate crust has now thickened and the distinctive taste is gone. Additionally, despite multiple requests for mayo instead of sauce, my preference was ignored. The expansion of the business and increase in staff seem to have come at the cost of quality. As a food lover, this decline is truly disheartening. Loyal customers like myself always hope for a business to grow without sacrificing the quality that made it special in the...
Read more29th June 2024 I wanted to order momo but as they had stocked out (before 8 pm), I went for chicken steamed wonton (10 pieces, Rs 130).
The wonton turned out to be below expectation. I watched a good review of their momo in the popular YouTube channel Gypsy Bong before going there to try it. The filling was adequate and juicy. But unlike the momo, the filling of the wonton was dry and lacked seasoning. The skin, cooked with mustard leaves, was tasty as it happens with wontons. It was served with clear chicken soup with chicken chunks which were dry too. The sauce was not served along with the dish. It had to be taken from the sauce pot on the table (the kind of pots carrying sauces in Chinese restaurants). It was palatably sharp.
There's a small room with dine-in a few feet away from the joint, in the same lane. It had a very basic arrangement with 3-4 plastic tables...

Chicken Momo @ ₹80 (4/5) Pan Fried Noodles (Chicken, Half) @ ₹100 (2.5/5) Sliced Chicken in Devil's Sauce (Half) @ ₹130 (3/5)
The Chicken Momo was juicy, soft, and satisfying, making it one of the best Momos in town for just ₹80. However, the Pan Fried Noodles and Chicken in Devil's Sauce were below average in taste, though the portion sizes were good for the price.
The prices here are very affordable; they just need to improve cleanliness. I hope to try their other...
