Nestled in the bustling heart of South Mumbai, this mall stands as a testament to the city's evolving retail landscape, one of the pioneering establishments that introduced the mall culture to this part of the city. Despite the passage of years, it remarkably retains its original anchor, the PVR-Inox cinema complex, a beacon for movie enthusiasts seeking refuge in the magic of films. This constancy, however, is a double-edged sword.
As time has woven its narrative around the structure, the mall, along with its once vibrant food court, seems to have surrendered some of its initial allure. Where the food court once buzzed with the excitement of culinary exploration, offering a mosaic of flavors to any and all who wandered its expanse, it now stands quietly, its essence faded, leaving behind a space that echoes with memories of its former glory. The absence is palpable, like a melody that's ceased, leaving only the resonance of what used to be.
Yet, even as the physical space has transformed, losing the bustling vibrancy that once defined it, there remains an undercurrent of nostalgia. It’s this nostalgia that continues to draw the loyal few, those who remember the mall's halcyon days and find comfort in its unchanged corners. The PVR-Inox, a symbol of resilience amid change, offers more than just movies; it provides a bridge to the past, a reminder of days when the mall was a pulsating hub of activity and excitement.
In this juxtaposition of what was and what is, the mall encapsulates more than just the story of a retail space. It represents the inevitable transformation that comes with time, a microcosm of the city itself—ever-changing yet forever marked by the imprints of its past. As the footfalls echo in the quieter corridors, they whisper tales of yesteryears, inviting those with a keen sense to listen and reminisce, finding beauty in the contrasts of...

The success of Crossroads found resonance at CR2 at Nariman Point. This new addition combined a multiplex with a shopping mall and included a multi-storey car park. While Nariman Point is the central business district, it lacked meaningful entertainment, shopping and dining space. CR2 has filled this gap in more ways than one.
The Concept A crowded commercial area, Nariman Point previously experienced a scarcity of parking spaces which usually led to inconvenience and congestion. In an attempt to decongest the area, MMRDA - the owner of the plot on which CR2 stands - floated a tender for private sector participation. Peninsula was awarded the plot and we developed the project as a joint venture with Larsen & Toubro.
CR2 has considerably reduced the acute parking problem in the area by providing a multi storey car park which can accommodate upto 500 cars in addition to which it can also accommodate upto 100 two-wheelers
The Creation CR2, located in Nariman Point, is South Mumbai's first and only shopping mall-cum-multiplex. It has redefined the mall experience while adding colour to the business hub. It flaunts some of the biggest international brands, many of which have opened their first Indian stores at CR2.

Read moreIt is more of a movie theatre than a mall. The movie screen is good and it is a multiplex. Inox screen also has an insignia here. It is an INOX so the screens here are very good. The box office is on the ground floor facing the road so it is easliy accessible. The seats of INOX are very comfortable and are quite clean. The milkshake counter has a popcorn flavoured milkshake. It is a must try. Its too good. Service staff is nice and friendly There is a lot of parking space available here which is of more than 2 floors so parking here is not an issue. Good food available in the food court. The mall doesn't have a lot of good stores so there's that. It is on quite a busy street so taxi (kaali peeli) is always available at a walking distance. The BEST buses bus stand is also closeby. Churchgate station is at 10-15 minutes walking distance. You can come by bus, train, taxi as well as a private vehicle here. There is the sea at 5 minute walking distance from the theatre so you can chill there after the movie. Overall you can call it a semi-romantic kinda place. Sarbucks and icecream stores are closeby for a quick snack.
The mall is very safe. The parking is charged. It isn't free. But the prices are quite reasonable. There are 2 security checks. One at the entry of the mall ad the other while going before the movie in the INOX LASERPLEX. There is lift as well as escalator access.
Overall in a short summary it is a very good and accessible for all mall if you want to watch movies or have a hearty meal. I hope this much data is sufficient for any person to know about the mall. And yes the washroom is very clean and...
