ORDINARY AT BEST I ran over to this place after seeing a youtube video by "food venture folks" because it pointed out that the place is selling since 125yrs. I am reviewing only products I bought and ones in the given image.You get no bill just hand written price list. Acknowledgment is only via upi payment. Ratings: 1) Spl Besan Ladu 500gm 2/5 I think they have taken roasted dal (futane/daliya) churned it fine and added powdered sugar to it. Nothing special. Overtly sweet. 2) Bhajni Chakli 250gm 3/5 Just average. 3) Karanji 250gm 3/5 Ok types. It has roasted suji and some cashews as well in it. But they have mixed sugar as it is into it. So you actually feel eating sugar crystals 4) Kachori 250gm 3.5/5 This was the only thing i liked a bit. 5) Mahalaxmi chiwda and Yellow poha chiwda both 250gm 3.4/5 each 6) Anjeer bite 1 pc 2/5 It looks like anjeer pulp but i felt there was tamarind pulp mixed into it . I felt backstabbed. It costs 40тВ╣ a piece and tastes like tamarind candy. 7) Dates bite 1pc Haven't eaten It. Total haul costed me тВ╣500. Overall below par quality. People also buy boondi ladu here and they тВ╣440 /100pc I did not buy those. Everything seems affordable but still taste is average.

Apart from a few varieties of ladoos they also have pedas, halwa, etc. In snacks they have really good quality banana chips in different flavors, forever hot, fresh and favorite kachoris (another spherical shaped snack which had spicy stuffing inside), crunchy bhakarwadi, really amazing poha chives, etc. This shop has been there for ages and is quite famous not just for it's tasty and reliable sweets and snacks but for it's surprisingly affordable prices!

Bought 1/2 kg of mix mithai, the shopkeeper suggested not buy mithai made with milk as they have lesser shelf life, agreed to buy their so called mix mithai and what I got was nothing special, I did not find any worth...I think I am expecting too much for 150/- but still the quality was below average I've tasted almost each of them

Bought 1/2 kg of mix mithai, the shopkeeper suggested not buy mithai made with milk as they have lesser shelf life, agreed to buy their so called mix mithai and what I got was nothing special, I did not find any worth...I think I am expecting too much for 150/- but still the quality was below average I've tasted almost each of them
