Don't think I've ever written such a negative Google review, but this place deserves a special mention for thinking that a facade of beautiful decor is enough to run a restaurant. We were a walk in group of 8 people on a Wednesday night and were told to wait at the bar as the table wait time was about 25-30 mins. We were happy to wait and have a drink at the bar while ordering some starters as it was already 10:05 pm. It's a pretty big bar, and every single one of the restaurant staff behind the bar seemed to be focused on preparing table orders, not one person even acknowledged our presence and offered to take our order even though we were standing there for over 15min. They kept passing as to the next person and moved on. Finally after managing to catch a hold of someone, and taking down the entire order, he said that it wouldn't be possible to serve food at the bar. On requesting his supervisor if they could make an exception as we had three mothers that were currently nursing, they agreed to serve us at the bar. Mind you that the bar is plenty big for atleast 20 people to comfortably have a meal. After waiting for over 40 mins more without any food or a table, the excuse we received from our order taker, and I quote verbatim, was that he " didn't have time to go to the kitchen"!!! We cancelled the entire food order except for one dish that had just come, and went to find the man who was supposed to be at the entrance seating tables, but to our surprise found him preparing sushi at the open kitchen!! This now the third time of enquiring with him for the table, he said that our, and I quote again, "table is ready but that it is right at the end and service will be very slack there"(!!!), to which I replied that it was none the better where we currently were either. Our group was meeting after months and so decided to sit for a bit and catch up so took the table anyway. Not one person came to take our order for the entire duration we were there, but three servers came and delivered another table's sushi and pizza to us accidentally!! All in all we spent just over an hour and a half at this place, had about one drink each, never had anyone from the restaurant come forward to take an order, before leaving to catch the last order at another restaurant; and to top it off, on running into the original order taker at the bar, he said "thats why I told you not to order at the bar"!!!! Unbelievable. This place is masquerading as a fancy rooftop bar, but the staff are so poorly trained that you'd get better service at literally any roadside joint in Mumbai. One last point of genuine concern. With the obvious lack planning having gone into this restaurant, zero systems in place, absolute clueless staff, and just a single visible exit, I genuinely pray that this is not another rooftop lounge calamity waiting to...

We went there last Saturday after checking the ratings and reviews, which, in hindsight, were the biggest scam. We booked two tables, expecting a nice evening.
The only good thing? The food. It was actually great, and they served it so fast, we barely had time to settle in. At first, we thought, wow, that is efficient.
Then began the water crisis. Every time we asked for water, they poured exactly 30ml, as if they were rationing it for an apocalypse. We kept asking, they kept ignoring, and by the end, we left the restaurant practically dehydrated. The worst part? It was late, and we could not even find water outside the mall.
If that wasn’t enough, the music situation was something out of a horror movie. It started with a woman singing live jazz, which was fine. But suddenly, Bollywood music blasted through the speakers, then Hollywood pop, then Arabic beats, it was as if a DJ had lost all control and was playing musical roulette. And the volume? Oh, it was deafening. One of my colleagues actually got a headache, but at that point, we were all mentally exhausted.
The final act of this tragic evening was the dessert disaster. We ordered desserts. Two arrived. The rest? Nowhere to be found. We reminded them numerous time and they kept ignoring. By the time they decided to offer a free dessert to make up for the delay, we had lost all appetite.
Then, as if the universe was not done punishing us, there were no taxis, Olas, or Ubers available for an hour. So there we were, thirsty, ears ringing, and full of regret, wondering how a simple dinner turned into a survival challenge.
If you are looking for great food and are willing to sacrifice your hydration, hearing, and patience, Zerua is the place for you. Just bring your own water bottle, noise canceling headphones, and maybe a backup...

I have a 3 point explanation why you must NEVER visit this restaurant.
We visited this restaurant on 6th Jan evening, second seating.
In case of a fire or some eventuality, safety is a big concern in a place like this where there is only one narrow exit stairway, which leads to this open roof top. They promote sheesha and seeing this set up , the Kamala Mills tragedy is still afresh in my mind. We did not see a single fire extinguisher in sight. Is this place even legal ????
Food is really really bad and service is the worst I've experienced in many many years !! And then you pay a service charge for this nonsense !! Mocktails have no direction or sensibility of what is mentioned as ingredients. The sushi rice was uncooked , salmon stinking , avocado equally bad. The pizza was cold by the time it arrived to our table , with no oregano and chilly flakes for the next 15 minutes , the tacos were soggy , the oriental rice bowl with really spicy sauce sprinkled on BOILED chicken on skewers , the veg noodles uncooked !!! This is what we ate and paid appx Rs. 11,000 !!! The Waiter we had only spoke Hindi and had no clue or explanation for dishes we asked for. We had to get up and run behind waiters for anything we needed.
Dirty tables and rats roaming fancy free under your legs. The place is swamped with mosquitoes and the Worli Nala gutter next to Atria emits a very dirty stench.. unbearable !!! No hygiene !!
Just coz it is a new place , there is a buzz but really not worth it..
The only saving grace after spending 11,000 without alcohol for 4 people were the cans of Coke and the Chocolate tart ( which was definitely made elsewhere in some bakery and served to us ). We went to McDonald's and ate fries and burgers post Zerua !!!
3 of us have already fallen ill with stomach issues.
Pls don't waste your money and risk your life and health.. Bombay has a lot more to offer than this piece of...
