Disappointing experience at Tierra Kitchen and Bar

We decided to go to Tierra Kitchen and a bar for Lunch. Upon booking the table on telephone the manager asked us to pay an amount of 2500/- just to reserve the table. We found this quite ridiculous, especially for lunch.

Upon reaching the place, we were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was quite empty and upon leaving after our lunch, nearly half the tables were empty.

We ordered 4 appetizers - Lotus Stem, Nachos Bowl, Marinated Paneer and Dahi Kabab. The food was very oily and spicy. Even upon request that we had children in the group, the request was not taken and food remained spicy even in the main course dishes. We could actually see oil floating in our dishes. With such a fine dining place, we did not expect this. Even after providing feedback of food being oily, they mentioned they are using olive oil. But no one would prefer such oily food.

For the main course we ordered Pad Thai noodles and Paneer Makhani and Indian bread. The food was again very oily.

When the restaurant positions itself as a fine dining place with its rates, the experience is very sub standard. There was no plating experience or any wow feeling in terms of the taste/ spices in the food we ordered.

No plate is less than 500/- for appetizers and 800/- for a main course dish and you do not get anything for what you pay for. The drinks too are quite expensively charged.

Even the 10% service charge is quite high which is mandatory.

This place is attracting customers like us, for being 100% Vegetarian, but we would not recommend anyone to visit...

Point. Tierra is a perfect place to enjoy the craft cocktails with some great globally curated cuisines amidst any hour of the day. They have an indoor seating area. The place is beautifully made up giving a very sassy vibe to the place. The place is usually packed, considering that it’s located in a busy commercial area. My visit was on a Thursday, and honestly I loved this place. They have great cocktails to try, they are served in a funky presentation and having some really cool names to it.

Service was fantastic, Mr. Naseem both were really sweet and friendly. They were acknowledging and warm hearted. The recommendation given by them were great. The food is excellent. You can also visit here for a date night, the Al fresco area has a pretty vibe with a candle light dinner. Perfect place to spend evenings with your loved ones. They have :- Live singing Commercial nights Retro nights Bollywood nights & many more additions to it. They also serve sheesha and have multiple offers running on it during the week. A perfect place for sheesha, good Food and the music, a complete fun place to be with your gang. This place becomes a club/ lounge post 10:00 so if you wanna go for dinner I recommend to go before that and

Weekends are certainly hanging with really good crowed , I went on a Saturday and it was packed ! I am certainly coming back again here.

Highly recommended specially for Vegetarians and Jains. Paid...

Tierra:- The new spot to hang out with your gang in SoBo ! Located in this lively mall, Atria Worli on 3rd Floor. This Veg restaurant and bar can be considered as one the new happening places in Mumbai now. I visited here with my family, we were thrilled with the ambience, it was a vibe :) the restaurant is pretty spacious and having a separate private area too.

The service was great, and staff was very well trained there. Mr. nafis was well acknowledging and made sure about all tables running smooth with services.

Coming to their food and drinks. Their bar menu is much elongated and food menu is so vast that Ul almost get confused what to order. The food was something we really relished. Everything was served in a great portion size made with fresh ingredients.

Full week they are having some or the other event happening keeping the place buzzed all through the week. They have :- Live singing Commercial nights Retro nights Bollywood nights & many more additions to it. They also serve sheesha and have multiple offers running on it during the week.
