Spent Rp1.5M for 2 pax. Expensive for Indon standard. Wanted aircon place for late lunch, seafood restaurants are either not opened or has no ac. Hence we walked in here. We picked the 2 soup base pot. However many of the choices were unavailable eg tomato, sour veg, collagen etc. The staff couldnt communicate well in English, had problem understanding them when they tried to inform us that our selection of soup base were unavailable. We ordered (i think) US beef and it came hanging on a rack similar to drying laundry (LOL), the meat started falling apart when trying to pick them off the rack and some fell on the table and bottom of the rack which is quite disgusting. Maybe we should have consumed that first before it turn room temp. Overall ok. But won't be coming back again.

Decided to try as always see a crowd while walking past. Had the 3 soups combination: mala (wei la; less spicy), pork broth and herbal chicken. Mala was flavourful, herbal chicken was normal. Love the pork broth - very flavourful without being too rich and heavy. Ordered variety of items: sliced pork, beef, marinated beef, beef tripe (white), meat balls, prawn paste, fresh prawns, beancurd rolls aka Ling Ling rolls, veg. Ingredients were fresh and clean. Portions were acceptable. Price point wise not the cheapest, 2 pax paid Rp 2,000,000 (SGD 200). Price comparable to Hai Di Lao SG however I find the ingredients better here. The sauce counter were included without additional cost.

Maklum lihat antriannya aja uda males banget harus nunggu dan you know what gak bisa reservasi disini ! Untuk soal ambience atau dekorasi di dalam Shu Guo Yin Xiang sebenarnya tidak terlalu banyak yang dapat dibahas karena dekorasi mereka adalah typical chinese hot pot restaurant dengan nuansa yang sangat kental. pilihan soup yang tersedia di Shu Guo Yin Xiang. Mereka memiliki 4 pilihan rasa soup disini yaitu Mala Szechuan (98k), Special Pork Bone (118k), Chicken Herbal (98k) dan Tomato (98k), banyak banget sampai bingung mau milih yang mana hahaha. Nah kalau kalian bingung mau soup yang mana, kalian bisa pilih kombinasi 2 soup (128k) atau 3 soup (138k) dalam 1 Pot. Untuk legendaris mala szechuan soupnya? Kalau kamu pecinta mala, kamu bakal suka banget sama soup satu ini karena rasa mala szechuannya sangat strong dan terasa sekali di lidah. FYI aku bukan pecinta mala, but still can try this soup which is artinya even though rasanya strong masih bisa dinikmati kok hehe.
