I dropped by for some ginger tea after my massage at Eska Wellness and was pleasantly surprised by this cosy, quiet café. The ginger tea was warm and comforting—just what I needed. A special shout-out to the in-house ginger tea biscuit served alongside the tea. It was light, flavourful, and paired perfectly with the drink.

When I asked the staff if the biscuits were available for purchase, he explained that they were made exclusively for Eskafe and not for sale. Still, he graciously brought out an extra plate of the biscuits, along with a second cup of ginger tea, simply because he knew how much I enjoyed them.

Beautifully decorated, seems to be designed as comfort gathering spot, conveniently located right at the Harbour Bay ferry terminal. I have tried some of their menu such as grilled ribs, grilled tuna, nasi kuning, nasi cakalang, tahu isi, mie cakalang, and my all time favorite is Tinutuan poridge which is super comforting and warming food, perfectly paired with delicious sambal roa!!! Staff was friendly and nice.

However, we had to wait for a long time for our food and drinks and we were the only customers there. Up to 20 mins for a smoothie, which we had to remind them about. We also waited up to 30 mins for our food before asking them to pack it for us to go as we had a ferry to catch.

We had our lunch on the ferry, but to our horror, we found a piece of plastic in our food. Needless to say, we didn't finish our food.

Overall, it was rather disappointing as we had seen the good reviews and were looking forward to...
