I was excited about going to Artomoro because of its beautiful interiors and interesting menu. However, I was a bit let down by the food.

After spending a long day on a tour boat, the three of us were hungry enough to order 7 separate dishes.

What we ordered salted egg calamari: crispy with a really unique flavor. Good with beer. A bit too salty, but it is salted egg se-i sapi: it’s the first time I’ve had this so I’m not sure how to judge but it was flavorful and fresh sayur asem: more sweet than I’m used to kwetiau: again a lot more sweet than savory papaya flower stir fry: my least favorite dish because it was so salty. I wonder if it’s because of the little fish they add to it bakwan udang: good for sharing or to have with some beer tahu/tempe goreng: average

But let’s talk about the food. absolutely delicious! Every dish was packed with rich, authentic flavors and beautifully presented. You can really taste the love and passion that goes into the cooking. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time!
